Why did Watkins not take it closer. Never looked like he believed he'd score. Seemed happy just to hit the target.

Palhinha signed a new contract. I guess he's got himself a substantial wage rise and a release clause in there.

Another really good signing. Nice that we're building on last season's success by adding even more quality. We've got some very good options in the final third in particular.

Just looked and he mainly played for Scotland at youth levels although does have an appearance for England U19s. I've never liked this changing country business. It shouldn't be about what gives you the best chance of winning something or better sponsorship deals.

Will always appreciate the job he did here, getting us out of the championship and establishing us in the premier league. But I always felt there was a ceiling on what he could achieve here and still maintain it was the right time for him to leave. Even if we got the first appointment wrong.. It's actually nice that he left while still being well thought of by the majority of the fan base too.
