Against the rules I believe

Hoping to see the set pieces improve now we are adding more height. We could feasibly field a team where 7/10 of our outfield players are comfortably 6ft+

Delighted with this, will add some much needed physicality to our midfield, but not only that he's very classy and calm on the ball.

So looks like this will be the depth in those attacking positions RW - Bailey, Diaby, Philogene, McGinn LW - Rogers, Ramsey, Buendia, Iling Jr ST - Diaby, Rogers, Bailey ST - Watkins, Duran, Archer So if we assume Duran is leaving, possibly Archer and Diaby then we'll need at least 1 out and out striker and 1 second striker.

Yep pleased he's coming back, we're looking very strong in those wide areas now.

I do think with Diaby it's partly our fault for not playing to his strengths. He is a winger/wide forward that should be running in behind. However we are often using him as that second striker and it's a role where you need to be able to protect the ball and win 50/50s. I am of the opinion that we could find someone more suited to that role. Rogers would be good at it I feel.

Yeah this is my worry, too many times he was easily nullified and I'm not sure it's something that's going to change with his slight build.

It's a tough one. For a first season his numbers were good but his performances generally left a lot to be desired after the first 10 games or so. Would his performances improve the more he settles ala Bailey? Possibly but no guarantee. On balance if we could turn a decent profit I'd probably sell.

What has he said to them at half time?! Also he changed from the back 3 to a back 4 when we had them all over the pitch? Edit nevermind still looks like Saka is wingback. But Shaw looks far too deep.

I think he lost his form sometime around December yeah. Don't get me wrong I would be delighted to see another quality midfielder come in, I'm just suggesting why I think it might not happen. And why I don't think it would be the end of the world.

I think he'd been poor the previous 2-3 months WITH Kamara next to him. I'm not expecting Barkley to necessarily start for what it's worth, I'm just saying I think he can do a good job. I suspect when everyone is fit it will be Kamara-Tielemans or Kamara-McGinn if we go with what we have now. Tielemans and McGinn also played as the 2 in a couple of our best performances towards the end of the season.

Back running supposedly so I don't think October/November is out of the question. Going to get some sh*t for this but considering how Luiz played 2nd half of last season I think Barkley will be an upgrade. I also think Enzo will be ready and surprise some people.

I was wondering if we do possibly see Ramsey go or Diaby to Saudi? Hopefully not though. I wouldn't be surprised if Dobbin went out on loan though. Maybe there's also a plan to convert 1 or 2 to positions we don't expect. We've seen wide players used up front and supposedly Iling Jr can play wingback?

I'd like one but I'm not convinced we do sign another CM. Enzo, McGinn, Barkley, Tielemans and then Kamara coming back after 10-15 matches hopefully. For 2 positions it's enough numbers. I'm really hoping for a top drawer CB or RB tbh, but I guess it could be dependent on Carlos or Cash leaving.
