    I would assume it is a UEFA supplied/commissioned TV crew and everyone buys the feed from them. I expect someone in UEFA is banning the coverage of any trouble

    I want Liverpool to win. Its better for the PL and Villa is in the PL so it is better for Villa. It increases the UEFA coefficient and may help making 5th in the PL a Championship spot. I would also like them to win as our manager would like them to win and I support him

    I don't believe Brighton could afford to write off 30m in a single season on one player. As he hasn't signed a contract and it appears that he won't sign one, I would bet my balls on him leaving Brighton this window

    Me neither, but last year our assistant manager's ex team, where he was a club legend, were in the Champions League Final and they won.

    Apparently Preston had a young striker last season that the fans love and scored a few goals, a real clinical finisher that can score with both feet and his head. Also, Forest have a striker that is scoring some goals and is absolutely brilliant at holding the ball up, he was instrumental in getting them to the playoff final. Would either of those two work as 3rd and 4th back up to Ings and Ollie?

    Is he the clinical finisher that we need to take us to the next level and then challenge for Champions League. I think our next striker needs to be that person

    100% agree with this. Our next striker must be clinical. Given the noticeable increase in quality we are now buying I fully expect our next striker to have a 'Wow' Effect with the Villa fans. I am not ruling out selling Ollie for 40m+ this summer and adding another 30m+ to that to get Darwin Nunez.

    Yeah, I agree that Hause would be worth more than 3m, I was deliberately trying to low ball the numbers I put in to try and counter the inevitable response of who would pay that / they aren't worth that. And yes,. Trez and Jed may raise a few quid too. We also have Nakamba that could raise a few quid if sold, would we need Marv if we have Bissouma and Kamara? The real point of my comment is to highlight that there is significant money that could be brought it. I expect that we have already had some interest in players and that has given Purslow the confidence to invest in these new players before offloading any

    Lots of PL teams can afford Traore. Fulham, Saints, Brighton, West Ham, Palace for instance How much do u think Dougie would go for this summer if not 25m? Davis is a huge part of the Forest team, the love him and he makes them click. They need players with some PL experience and that won't break the bank. They will be doing well to get anyone under 10m that would fit into their team. Also, he would be a perfect signing for them as they will be planning for what happens if/when they are relegated in 12 months. How much do you think he is worth to them?

    That would be way too much for Tammy. But I think Chelsea has a buy back clause of 64m so that would limit the price he could go for. If Roma looked for much above that we could just ask Chelsea to buy him back and sell him to us and give them a facilitating fee

    In the Championship Watkins can score 25 goals, in the PL he gets about 12 a season. Tammy scores 17 in Serie A, Tammy gets 17. I wonder what that would equate to in the PL .

    It would be rare to find supporters complain about players when the team is doing well in the pitch. If strikers are scoring goals, fans love them and want them to play every week. If the stop scoring goals, fans want them dropped.

    Personally, I like the captain to be a DCM. He has a good view of the game and is in a position to bark orders at everyone on the pitch. I don't see Kamara or Bissouma as captains, at least not in the next few years, so that leaves somewhere else on the pitch. Tarkowski would probably be in with a shout of the role if we sign him, other than that and by process of elimination it would be Mings as captain imo

    I don't think anybody has suggested that because we signed Carlos we will sell Mings. The discussions have been that if we buy another CB eg Tarkowski, then it will look like Mings is on the way out
