    You may find if you look it up that being removed from bail conditions means that they have nothing on him. So many people post comments with the caveat they do not know and then make stuff up that they are clearly misinformed on

    Sign those two and Gomez or Hickey or Bassey and that is our window closed and Lange can focus on selling players for the rest of the summer and VT will go mad having 2 months with no transfers or football.

    He was released from bail last Jan which means there is no evidence to suggest he committed a crime, a 40 year old man is currently on bail, the offence, although it is sexual assault and is wrong, appears to be at the very minor end of sexual assault i.e. arse pinching. Bissouma is not charged with anything and is free to travel and do what he wants. He was released under investigation which means there is nothing on him.

    I assume SG knows very little about him but I am sure he is well aware of the positive reports he is getting and will give him a fair crack

    I don't think Watkins or Ollie are anywhere near 60m either, but to buy a striker as good as them that is the cost in the current market imo.

    I am assuming we sell Davis and send Archer on loan. To bring in a striker to compete with Ings and Ollie would need a lot more than 30m+, I think we would be in the 60m+ price range. That's why a 12 month deal for a Suarez type player could be suited to Villa this season. Then the following season we should have a much improved Archer ready for the Villa 1st 11

    If we have injuries or suspensions then we may be a little light upfront. Also, I would like to see us play a strong side in the cups too. A Carabao Cup win would be great for Villa and would give us Europa football

    Yeah, that makes sense but it also suggests that to upgrade our strikers or even complement our strikers we would need to be paying major transfer fee, unless we can get a Suarez type player for 1 season

    The apparent reason he is not signing / delaying signing for Arsenal is that he wants first team football. I can't see him viewing Villa as the club to offer him a starting birth in our 1st 11

    As per my comment he is been quoted at 20m to 25m. Not exactly breaking the bank for a striker with potential

    Obviously there is risk buying from the Championship but there is also players like Bohen, Maddison, Eze, Toney and many more who can make the step up

    Could this be used as leverage for Bassey? A year at Rangers and some European football may be a good option for Archer

    I agree but the problem is if we let Archer go on loan and either Ollie or Danny get injured we are very very light up front for a push for Europe

    I don't wish injury on any player but it would have been much funnier if he had waited a few days and did his hammy the day after signing for Toon. This is his 2nd hammy injury this year, clubs will avoid this guy until next summer now

    That is the dilemma, would we be restricting his development if we brought him back to Villa to play this season. Would it be asking too much to think he could get a lot of game time through rotation and use as a sub?
