  1. The link I posted earlier said that only 78% of soccer players returned from a ruptured achilles which is very scary.
  2. Does that mean he should move away from Brum?
  3. These things are really important for his overall recovery and getting back into our team. I wonder will be be off home to recover or will he stay in Brum. It would not be fun if he was stuck in a hotel room.
  4. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leonardo-spinazzola/verletzungen/spieler/118689 278 days according to transfer market Edit: He was on the bench against Leicester in the semi final of Conference League on April 28th.
  5. Everton are having a really rough time with injuries too and the season Virgil was injured, Liverpool had a very difficult time with injuries. I think all club's fans think their club is unlucky
  6. The worry is that he loses some pace when he does return and just may not be the same player. There must also be a big psychological challenge with returning from this type of injury as it surely prays on the mind that it may happen again
  7. He didn't take 11 months. He was out injured for just 278 days which is just about 9 months, depending upon how many days in the month. That that is one single example. My comment uses the word 'mean' in the timings and is actually backed up with verified data
  8. I like Webster, I wanted us to sign him from Bristol when we were linked
  9. From the 'Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine' ATR: Accilles Tendon Rupture RTP: Return To Play https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/23259671211024199
  10. I don't believe that has been confirmed. A ruptured achilles should take about 6 months to recover from and with the WC this year that helps us. Obviously different players will return to competitive sport at different rates but it is too early to rule out his return in Feb/March. We may get the last quarter of a season with him. But from a planning perspective the club will need to assume he won't be available until next season
  11. The timing is really unfortunate. Tarkowski, Collins and Coady were each available in the last month or so
  12. Didn't he sign for Barcelona? I was thinking Fofana is available for about 85m
  13. I think it is the day after the transfer window closes that you register your squad
  14. The worst injury to a new player imo was Luc Nilis. He was such a good signing to make and then the injury against Ipswich
  15. At least we have the W/C break, that gives him about 8 weeks recovery time without missing any games. Hopefully he can return in the new year and it is not the full season. Any the window is still open too which gives us opportunity to bring someone in
  16. Yeah, the jumping around was not good for many. Also, I believe Jesus has been transferred out by about 380k people
  17. On top of that we have amortisation amounts from all our purchases for the last 3 seasons on this year's accounts
  18. You could own both Kane and Haaland in week 1 and sell either Kane or Haaland for the week 2, that is another 3 option. You could own one of Kane or Haaland in week one and buy the other in week 2 (without selling the one u have) which is another 3 options. As it is FF you can also chose to captain either player each week which adds a further 8 options.
  19. I forgot I was reading the FF thread and thought u were losing your mind in getting rid of Digne and the options and costs for a replacement
  20. Spurs are getting played off the park. Chelsea looking very good, Cucurella works very hard on and off the ball. I didn't see much of him at Brighton but a very good player
  21. 100m for Rice would be a good buy for Villa imo. He and Kamara would be brilliant in our team. He is the sort of player that would help us push to the next level. I would be very happy to see us spent that amount of money on him
  22. Antonio was moving towards him with his arms out and clearly pushes him
