  1. Highline and lowblock? You just said he looks good against the highline and now saying he can't beat a lowblock. I think you are getting a little confused
  2. If he looks good against top teams that play a high line and we are the opposite to that, surely that suggests he would be the type of player we should be getting?
  3. You really are falling behind most other VT posters. There are experts on here that know everything about him. Also, apparently you don't have to watch a player to see what he is like anymore. You just need a laptop and access to the the internet to read the stats. BTW, he has lost his pace since last season
  4. HaHaHa, that really doesn't surprise me one bit
  5. I didn't realise Watford were on TV so often. It was only last season he ripped us apart. Was it the 2nd half of last season he lost his pace? How did he look in pre season?
  6. I am happy we have ONLY landed one of them
  7. The penny has now dropped with me about this signing. We are assembling a bigger squad to be able to compete in Europe next season and still maintain a push for the top 4 in the league. It all makes perfect sense
  8. I won't believe it until I hear Gerrard and Purslow have called to his house and explained 'the project' to him
  9. A big financial outlay for a simple upgrade of a fringe player. No transfer received for Traore and there is no chance they are even paying all his wages. Sarr is 25m+ and a big wage
  10. When Bruce bought Hogan we needed a striker and Hogan was one of the most in form strikers in the league at the time. Sarr is nothing like Bruce getting Hogan
  11. Hudson Odoi also had serious injury and hasn't shown anything like his pre injury form since his return. I would steer a million miles away from him
  12. I doubt Forest would sell him. Then again, if we offer a big increase on what they paid last week they may like to make a quick few quid profit
  13. I avoided this place since the game to avoid the meltdown and I come on to see we are signing Sarr. I am hoping it is the beer that is causing me not to understand this and in the morning it will all make sense
  14. Nope, but as per my post above he offers more versatility and something different to Fred. He can back up more positions on the pitch and on both sides of the pitch and he has maturity and experience if we are trying to defend a lead with 10 mins to go. When u consider that Cash rarely gets injured the risks of having an inferior backup RB are probably outweighed by having more options with Ash
  15. I think SG sees a lot in Konsa and wants to see if he can get his old form back. He has played very little since his return from injury and needs game time to sharpen up. If we don't see improvement in Konsa in the coming games I expect he will be dropped for Chambers. Luiz could be a good call, maybe SG wants to see the impact of playing Bailey and Emi2 together behind a striker with JJ flying up the middle before he starts changing the midfield?
  16. Konsa, Sanson and Ings, oh yeah, Ash is on the bench ahead of Freddie too
  17. Young is a much more versatile bench warmer. Can cover many positions and offer a mature head if we are defending a lead entering the last 10 mins or so.
  18. No, Traore is going to İstanbul Başakşehir.
  19. I thought I read somewhere that he is off to Besiktas on loan
  20. They should VAR every "head injury" and if it is BS then a straight red
  21. You appear to have breezed over the mention of Kamara. Not all unknown players will turn to gold. Brighton have had many failures too. We could just as easily say why haven't Brighton signed Tim Iroegbunam, John McGinn, Emi Martinez, Bouba Kamara and Matty Cash
