  1. Are u not making presumptions about Delphinho ? LOL And if he is saying that my view of Louie is so funny then I have a lot of basis to assume he hasn't seen much of him play. Time will tell, but I do believe Louie will be world class and a lot sooner in his career than Jack was
  2. No, I didn't say that. I do think Louie will be a better player than Grealish though in a few years. As for getting a game at Ipswich. He is only 18, has just joined them on Aug 6th and has 3 appearances. Give him a chance to get his into the team.
  3. Louie is 18 now. A year with Ipswich and then back to Villa age 19 and straight into the senior squad. He will be scoring goals for Villa long before 2027
  4. You clearly haven't followed much of Louie's career or seen much of him play. I have been watching the guy play for about 5 or 6 years now and he is a very very special talent and if he avoids injury and continues improving as he is doing he will be a world class player in a few years time
  5. NSWE and CP have told us the plan is to get the youth system to feed the 1st XI. I expect we will still have big signings but they will be complimented by promoting the youth. Louie Barry is perfect for replacing Jack and imo, he is just as good if not a better prospect than Jack
  6. The 500m in debt is debt used to buy the club. It is not Glazier debt put into the club. Regarding the point of outside the top 4. NSWE and other owners will get their ROI by increasing the value of their clubs. I would say AVFC is already worth more than their total investment and as we continue to improve the club will go up in value. NSWE will not be looking for a dividend from AVFC, they want the value of their asset to increase
  7. It is reported that we have budget for a DM in this window and no budget for any other position. Let's hope for an exciting day tomorrow
  8. How have Glaziers put their debt into Utd? They leveraged the club as an asset to raise the funds for the purchase. They take profits out of the club as they own it. The club's valuation has nothing whatsoever to do with Glaziers sinking debt into the club. If anything the club would have a higher valuation if it didn't have a lien on its assets
  9. I think that we are going to have to get used to the fact that we are going to be promoting some of the youth to the senior team during the summer transfer windows as opposed to buying 'quality signings'. This is the model that we have been told since the very start and it is only now that we have had youth players that have shown the quality to make the step up. Next season Louie Barry looks like he could be our left wing signing as opposed to spending another 30m
  10. Are you sure? Would people not be moaning that we should have signed him earlier to get him ready for the 1st team sooner
  11. Glaziers bought Man Utd for 800m, it is worth 4.6Billion today. Liverpool is valued at over 2.9 Billion, it was bought for 300m You may want to rethink that statement.
  12. I would only see Lingard as a possible loan for us, I can't imagine we would want a permanent deal and as we have already got Tuanzebe on loan from Utd that rules out any further loans from them
  13. Yeah, they couldn't afford Grealish so had to compromise
  14. He will also be thinking that he has 1 year left on his contract. I am guessing he could get a 3 year contract somewhere next summer on a free, maybe to a newly promoted Championship team looking for some PL experience. It may be better for him to be in amongst the 1st team of a PL club than in a Championship club
  15. Maybe I just have said 'next level', I don't mean that one more signing will put us in contention for top 6. I mean it would make us a little better and help us to finish a couple of places higher in the table. I am currently thinking we are good for 10th and a new player may get us 8th/9th
  16. If we get a loan I think it would be a top class 1st XI player. I can't see us getting in a squad player unless we get a GK on loan.
  17. Yep, if he had a good season with Fulham I would expect a few quid for him next summer. But, I don't think we can afford to let him leave. We need cover for Cash. On Saturday we were looking a little weak at the back with Mings out and Konsa getting injured. If Cash then gets injured or a suspension we would be very exposed
  18. Yeah, it would surprise me if a Championship team looking for promotion didn't try and do a loan deal.
  19. I think it is difficult to not feel like that. I don't think I have ever felt that 'just one more signing' would make a big difference and take us to another level
  20. I would say part of the reason Hourihane didn't get game time is to avoid injury in the hope of getting a transfer for him.
  21. And that is probably why it is said that the only position Smith has money for is a DM
  22. Agreed. It is funny how some fans are. Constantly complain about not integrating the youth, yet looking for extra player purchases which would prevent the youth getting game time
