  1. He's been with us for over 2 and a half years and is 28 years old. He should have ironed these things out by now.
  2. They also had the luxury to bring on Jorginho at H/T as a result of us getting the upper hand from an attacking perspective.A combination of good management & tactics and having the quality on the bench to back up your plan B
  3. Yeah, Chelsea look absolutely superb. TT has done an amazing job since taking over from Frank. They are rock solid at the back and showed that at Anfield last time out when they had 10 men and kept a clean sheet during that period. On top of that their midfield is brilliant and they now have Lukaku up front. I wonder if any City fans are thinking they would have been better off spending their 100m on him. It would have reduce the Chelsea threat and seriously improved City
  4. I agree with that. But I would also ask, Can we do better than Mings? and I believe the answer to that is Yes
  5. I think that is the unfortunate situation for all defenders outside the top teams. We obviously have more defending to do than the top 4 and as such our defenders need to perform better and for longer periods than their top 4 counterparts.
  6. I think Fulham will take top spot but Bournemouth will probably give Baggies a good fight for the 2nd automatic spot
  7. What suggests it is knee-jerk? I was saying this before the Chelsea game too. I am not sure what you mean by 'out', is it out of the team or out of the club? I have said I would like Mings to be sold next summer. This is partly due to the fact that after next summer he will go down in value rapidly and next summer & could make a significant accounting profit on him and I don't believe he is good enough to get us to top 4/6. Tuanzebe is on loan so he will be returning to Man U next summer, there is no option to sell him. I have already explained my view on Konsa i.e. he is an excellent player and will increase in value and can help us get to top 4/6, therefore we should not sell him. EDIT: Regarding 'out' of the team. I do not want Mings dropped from the team. He is the best player for that position currently at the club and he also organises our defence. We need him in the team to try and finish top half this season. I rate Mings, just not enough to get us to the next level and I think we should try and cash in on him and get a better replacement
  8. There is nothing wrong with having a different opinion but that is not the principle I am endorsing and nor what I said
  9. . That could be a good idea, Wolves have just appointed the Olympic Team GB Psychologist to work as their 'Mind Coach'
  10. Our own 'God', McGrath was of similar approach to the game. That's how quality defenders play
  11. The principle behind selling Mings is clearly going over your head
  12. Arsenal sold Martinez for 17m/20m and bought Ramsdale for 24m+6m and Edu still has a job
  13. I agree. They will sell players tactically and not willy nilly
  14. Sacking Lange for that would be very harsh, I think CP has more sense than to be that stupid
  15. I agree, it is very good to see. Particularly McGinn. He looked so promising and then since his ankle injury he wasn't the same player. But I like his recent form for Scotland and now he is starting to look like his old self for Villa. If we can get him performing as a lot of us think he can perform he will be a huge positive for us
  16. You said he made 4 mistakes in 89 games. That sounds like complete BS to me and you say I have an agenda LOL
  17. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with people and having different opinions. But please read my comments more carefully or if you are reading them carefully then please don't twist what I am saying or try and cherry pick to suit your argument. I said we should sell Mings because we can probably make a significant accounting profit on him and this is our last opportunity to do so, this is coupled with the fact that imo we need better quality than Mings. The reason we can make an accounting profit is because of the length of time he has been with us (we have already amortised a lot of his purchase price) and that at his age he is only going to reduce in value. Leicester cashed in on players because they had significantly increased in value. Mings has not significantly increased in value but from an accounting perspective we could make a very large profit on him
  18. I don't have an agenda. I am just expressing my opinion, isn't that allowed? I think we should sell Mings, you think we shouldn't. What is wrong with that? If you are bored then why do you continue to interact with me. Just ignore me or do not engage if you are bored. But continuing to engage with me and saying you're bored is rather silly
  19. Kante, Drinkwater, Chilwell, Maguire, Mahrez
  20. Because they only bought him 12 months ago and he will go up in value, also he is the right age to keep and would help them push for Champions League. And on top of that he has suffered a serious injury and is out for about a year.
  21. The logic being that because he makes errors he gets dropped and isn't trusted to play?
  22. Yep we are under the cosh more, hence we need defenders that are able to concentrate for the full 90 mins and not make silly mistakes If we had VVD instead of Mings we would without question finish on more points at the end of the season.
  23. Other than the fact that he broke his leg and ankle and damaged his ligaments I would take Fofana over Mings everyday of the the week. I would happily swap Mings for Fofana and give them about 50m. A player like him in our defence would push us to European qualification
