Yes that would be difficult but if you replace the word 'winning' with 'performing' or 'doing the right things' or ' playing to a system' or 'putting in the effort' or something like that it should not be so difficult
Exactly, Pepe was on the bench because he was a waste of money. There are NO excuses, we were crap, Dean needs to take responsibility, Dean needs to fix it. We want to keep him as manager but ignoring what is actually happening on the pitch and with the team is akin to an ostrich putting its head in the sand
I agree, if u read some of my posts I say I do not want Dean sacked. It is not the time for that now imo. But I will agree he is on fairly thin ice and he needs to turn this around quickly. Another 2 or 3 losses on the trot and he may be a goner

I agree. They won't sack him without having an idea of who will replace him, they will have a shortlist. And I would expect that regardless of whether Dena has us in 4th or 14th place. It is just good business practice. But Bruce was sacked before we has Dean lined up as manager so I think he will be gone IF they believe he is not the right man for the job
I would be shocked if they weren't looking at Bees and every other team in the PL. But they will not be blinded by the fact that Bees have significantly improved since Dean left and that is on the back of selling Maupay, Ollie and Benrahma, there 3 best players for about 100m and replacing them with cheap alternatives
Purslow sacked Rafa at Liverpool after he won the Champions League so I doubt he will be letting Dean rest on the success of winning promotion from the Championship
I agree and it doesn't look favourable for Smith what is happening at Brentford at the moment. I think he is under a lot more pressure than I was thinking. I thought he was safe for at least this season but I am starting to thing otherwise now
Do you know what management is? Could you do me a favour and have a chat with my boss and explain your thoughts on management. My boss holds me 100% accountable for all the people that report into me. There are no excuses or no mitigating factors, I am held accountable. I need to anticipate and I need to have everyone firing on all cylinders. If they are not doing that they get fired. If I don't fore them and they continue then I get fired.
If CP & NSWE believe Smith is the wrong man for the job they need to sack him. They can't be second guessing themselves about a potential replacement. Clubs change managers all the time and it is Purslow's job, with the help of others to ensure the get the right replacement. Saying we shouldn't sack Smith because we mightn't find better is complete BS. I am not saying sack Smith, I am saying if the time comes when Purslow believes he is not the right man for the job then he needs to go
