If they are going to let him go they will do so at the earliest opportunity. They won't want a manager that knows he is about to leave or pissed off that Brighton are dicking around with negotiations. On a positive, if we were getting him and they kept him for the game against they may not be at their best
We were in breach of FFP and about to end our parachute payments. Getting straight back to the PL potentially saved us years of messing about in the Championship. I would suggest the stakes were much higher. If we get relegated this season it would be a big knock for us but we would be massive favourites for an immediate return
Yeah, Nuno has that over Bruce. The comment was more tongue in cheek in that they both play horribly negative defensive football. I want an attacking manager and not a dull boring football manager
There are quite a few names on here people appear to be happy with. The ones that stand out as a No are Muno, Lamps, Gerrard and JT. I don't see much objection to the others. We are never going to get 100% support for any manager, even if we got Pep or Klopp
But the appointment of a manager is not about appeasing the fanbase. It is and rightly so, about getting the right man for the job. If Purslow gets the right man in then the fanbase will very quickly get behind him
