No need to over react. It was a poor result. We were the better team in the 1st half and we should have got something from the game. Poor defending, poor subs and some poor individual performances.
Lads,
Every time there is a double header they talk about both games before the first game as there is no time in between the 2 games. It is not anti Villa. Also, the game after us is a much bigger game with much bigger global interest and there is big news with Lukaku. They will talk about Villa soon enough
At least someone is thinking clearly. As Ollie is younger I assume it would be with some cash our direction, or maybe Lukaku and Gallagher thrown in as a sweetner
I have the same anxiousness. If we sign the right players that signal intent it will lay down (again) that the club has ambitions to get into the Top 6 and European football. I am not suggesting this will happen this year or next, but I want a clear signal that we are focused on that goal. Signing benchwarmers would not do it for me. Signing players competing fort a 1st team start will get me excited.
I always think that defenders that can play for one of the big Turkish sides are lads not to mess with and only 23. I am getting into the transfer window mood now and want to sign this guy to replace Axel. I will look at the youtube clips now and then I will be totally sold on him
Everton fans want rid of him. There have been some attitude issues with him and Everton too apparently, he was a good player in his time but I would not like to sign him. I assume Chelsea may try and get him on loan till the end of the season and Everton may have to agree to it to get him off the wage bill
Burnley will survive, they have 3 games in hand over them and they know what to do to avoid relegation. Toon may overtake Watford but they won't catch Burnley
