When are we ever going to get a penalty? We've had what, three all season?
Had very strong shouts for one about 4 matches running. No way Salah or Kane or Fernandes doesn't get a penalty for that tackle against Ollie in the first half.
Last minute of the Brighton game hopefully

That was a shit ref. And where did 6 minutes of injury time come from?

Tbf I'm sick to death of seeing the table and seeing how many games in hand Brighton have. It's ridiculous.
I bet they are sick of seeing them all to though, all in the next 2 weeks

I'd be happy with an attack of Torres, Watkins and Asensio. We can have Gunendouzi, Luiz & Kamara do the work in midfield for them. That'd be decent
Talk dirty to me

The season finished earlier last season (we had the world cup this year). It was more a function of Kamara being out of contract, I suppose the announcement coincides with the formal endong of a contract (such as Alemany?)
26th May was the Diego Carlos announcement

Even though we will likely lose at Liverpool, are you certain Spurs will beat Brentford that same weekend?
he's right, we may as well give up now, no point in even trying for the last 3 games, pointless, its over

Didn’t we announce Kamara really early? Like the week after the season ended or something like that?
We could have deals almost done at this point.
Just checked and we announced Diego Carlos on May 26th last year so really early

Our progress is skewed because most of our games and wins in the 10 game run were against lower half teams. As we start to play better opposition you might see a more realistic ppg by the end of the season.
We beat Man Utd in his first game then beat Brighton and Spurs away not to long after that

I like Cam, I really do, but I am not sure, if he is good enough for top 8, aspirations of the Premier League.....He does not dominate his position, in the same way Jack did......nevertheless a good striker.
Defenders in the Prem are more more switched on, than the championship.....and while Cam is clinical in his finishing, I am unsure of his overall threat for 90 odd minutes....I think he can look a bit ordinary for spells of a game.
Chances don't always come as regular with quality defenders, so patience and persistence is key....In that time, you have to be alive and pose a nuisance to defenders, never letting them settle.
What seperates the good strikers from the Elite strikers, is the Elite ones are always a threat, even when they are not scoring.....They look dangerous, even when they are not.
Vardy in his Pomp, is a good example, of a persistent threat, always weaving back and forth looking for openings, and making intelligent runs, even when not scoring.....always, always unsettling defenders, with his effervescence.
Some good strikers, get the numbers, but have spells of inactivity in a game, they rely on moments of threat, not a constant threat.....They are more easily negated, whereas Elite ones, you can never switch off.
His plus points are 10 goals in 20 games, that is impressive, and his incremental improvement year on year. I want to see him moving forward, be more industrious, and pose more of a constant threat....thet requires intelligent runs and postioning and ball control
I hope Cam becomes Elite with us......but I fear, he will be sold.
At Cams age Vardy was probably playing sunday league

We might even only have one keeper on the bench.
Steady on!

Didn’t realise Ferran Torres was only 23, still plenty of time to fulfill his potential but I wouldn’t pay over the odds

No interest in Ferran Torres. Loads of holes in his game.
Every hole is a goal

Collomosse is hedging his bets like most journalists. Nobody knows our transfer business.
potentially in this case but he definitely gets word from inside the club if we want something out there

In light of the Alemany news, these guys continue to amaze me with where they want to take the club

Barca fans don't seem to put much, if any blame for their current state on Alemany

That's also probably lost in translation and there won't be.
You mean to tell me we won’t be spending £1 trillion on transfers?

Will be a few in for him outside of Italy at that price.
It’s the hidden costs that will put people off

we will just have to score 5 against Liverpool to counteract all the dodgy decisions i reckon

End to end game like this is gonna drain Brighton even further you'd have thought

Surely a forest pen here!

I just glanced at the table again... for flip's sake Brighton still have three games in hand grrr! Three!!! I thought it was two.
All incredibly tough games with little to no rest though...
Think we are already seeing some fatigue tonight
