    Well they sold a hotel to ensure they hit the prior year PSR limits, however that sale is yet to be fully ratified by the premier league. Theres no guarantee that sale or the Cobham sale saves them

    That's just a symptom of a wider issue though. Emery's methods require full buy in and its becoming pretty apparent that Duran may not be willing to provide that.

    I agree re Luiz and anyone who watched Unai Emery Cam from the Liverpool game could see that Dougie was celebrating as hard as anyone. 2 years left on his contract now though so the proof will be in the pudding, if he wants to stay he will be signing an extension imminently!

    When it comes to the likes of Y. Fofana and Baena you would hope we could get the deals sorted before the Euros as its a relatively tight turn around between the end of the tournament and our preseason tour.

    I’m also not sure why people are worried about the ‘won’t sign many players’ aspect, I thought most were in agreement we need maybe 3 quality signings? could maybe then do with a couple more for depth but that’s a nice to have
