The wife is supporting local business and her mate is doing takeaway deliveries from her restaurant. One of the items for delivery is a breakfast pie, The pie contains bacon sausage cheese and baked beans. Cannot decide whether this would be delicious or rank

There is an element of that definitely but also the kids want to go back to meet their friends play with their friends and generally get back to some kind of normality themselves, It has been a real problem for my two not being able to socialise as young teenagers as these are very formative years In their development from children into adults

Unfortunately the older they get the worse they get, old dog and new tricks and that. I remember one Christmas lunch where my sister playfully let it slip that I was courting a mixed race girl and the reaction from my Nan was, never bring her to meet her, the races should never mix and her stating she was going to reassess leaving me anything in her will if such actions 'persisted'amongst other things. She also killed a swan with a rock cake but that's a different story

It’s me Mum, always gets the crackers out for a family birthday, started 40 odd years ago when we were kids and could not afford much present wise so filled the gap with left over Christmas crackers and just stuck from then on, got a golf tee, a spangly mini note pad and some poorly constructed tweezers today. Admittedly it is a bit strange reading out jokes based around the festive period in the middle of summer
