Who’s the one but last Journalist with the Brummie accent? Gerrard seems to like him a lot.
Daz Hale? Someone mentioned it on here before I think. Not sure though, I don’t listen to WM.

I’ve always thought he was overweight.
Just putting it out there.
Not sure, I don’t think fitness and energy were ever his problem.

Arsenal have defended really well, no way do we stay that focused and organised for so long. It does help that Liverpool don’t look like they have any answers.

He isn’t coming
What makes you say that?

He’s almost certainly going to Utd, but if not it’ll be another UCL club on massive wages. We’re simply not in the running for Zakaria.
I agree and you can say this til you’re blue in the face but people keep saying they want him like we’re linked to him even though we’re clearly not. Everything I’ve read says he’s going to United, not once have we been mentioned outside of fan wish lists. I can’t say I care because I’d never heard of him before last month.

You can tell he’s been watching Villa social media going “not another bloody Coutinho post…any danger of announcing me??”

I mentioned this earlier and I'll reiterate one more time, I don't think Bissouma would have been allowed to leave the country if this allegation was either serious or would lead to a prosecution.
Whilst it would suggest that the offence does not carry a significant chance of a custodial sentence, many many people who are on bail do not have travel restrictions placed on them and it has no bearing on the outcome of the investigation. It depends on whether it is thought they are likely to flee.

He’s bored of waiting and has announced himself.
Hes also written a long message on Instagram to the Everton fans thanking them and basically blaming Rafa without naming him.

Yeah maybe. Maybe an internal paper policy because I have seen it elsewhere but rarely.
Yep, it weird. Like every journo ignoring the elephant in the room when talking about this potential transfer. Makes you wonder who’s feeding the press re our interest anyway.

No mention of the investigation which surely would be commented on. WTF is going on with the case, yes I know what’s going on via this thread and some media reports but it’s not being talked about otherwise as if things are normal.
I would guess some sort of reporting restrictions are in place around it. Either to protect him or so not to prejudice any future court case. I’m just guessing though.

Alex is being very weird about these GK rumours. Has started two now, gave absolutely zero detail as to why Randolph fell through as well. Just weird. A backup GK is no reason to lie for clickbait or spread bollocks as not many either side of the transfer will care too much. But weirdly handled..
Anyway.. allegedly in for Robin Olsen now
Read somewhere David Moyes put a stop to it. They wanted 3 senior GK and he’s a strong character in the dressing room.

And Darren Randolph hanging around the side.
West Ham have decided to keep Randolph and we’re now looking at Robin Olsen to which Blades fans are reacting how Villa fans did to the news about El Ghazi.

I’m not entirely convinced we are doing the last bit this window…

Now imo we have a decent squad of players. Bringing in better is going to cost. We have to spend much more money for marginal gains. But we have a decent squad of players bombing a whole load of em out shouldn't be necessary imo. Build on what we have.
I do agree but would really really like us to sign some inexpensive lesser known 23 year old from abroad or lower league that just lands in the PL and hits the ground running. A real amazing find. Other teams do it.
I know they’re trying to build the brand and I respect that, and I know we will have to spend but that can be done wisely eg Leicester and even Wolves. To be fair though, I think Buendia will be great, Ings will keep scoring for us, very happy with Coutinho, I’ve massively come round to the idea of Digne. The only concern re the Grealish money so far is Bailey due to the injuries and the fact that I’m not sure how he will fit in Gerrards system, time will tell on that one.

Digne liked Coutinho's arrival video
Coutinho follows Digne aswell. Wonder if they met today?

Talks of it being a loan move also.

Everton fans imploding at this. Not so much about him personally but for the cost for a position they’re already stacked. To the point that they think it’s rubbish.

I hope that if and when the club or he posts a farewell on social media, he gets thanks and respect.

How much did we pay for El Ghazi? 4 million? I think 15 is definitely a fair value for him, but it will be the biggest profit we’ve made off a squad player in a long long time.
I agree. He’s prem experienced, scored 10 goals for us last season and is an ice cold penalty taker. £15 mil is not a lot for that.

I’m not sure Olsen is either. But let’s hope we don’t need to find out.
