  1. Has any player played as well for Southgate’s England as they do for their club? I genuinely can’t think of one player who is as good or better than their club form whilst in a England shirt
  2. Yet again Ty had a great game... however I have a hunch it's never going to be good enough for "England fans" the media and punditry. oh and Southgate
  3. Croatia? did sky employ southgate’s brother to write this article?
  4. England are the most lacklustre team to watch. Southgate’s safety first philosophy is great for tough teams… but against teams like Scotland it was so obvious what England was going to do. Scotland set up well and had an answer for everything England had to offer. They even had an answer for jack, double teamed him out of the game. Yet England didn’t adjust for that and exploite the areas the extra defensive player should of been. England signed posted every move they made and posed nothing challenging for Scotland to deal with. bravo to Scotland. Had all the best chances and should of won the game. ps. can we go get Gilmore please. he’s the DM Villa need
  5. the underwhelming welcome back I could find
  6. His wages and longevity is going to be an expensive stop gap until we find someone long term. im just hoping he still have some of his prem quality. a reluctant “welcome back” fingers crossed it works out
  7. There is many more that didn’t batter an eye lid that he didn’t start. Especially after the result. there is no issue that he didn’t start today. He will get a start in the next two
  8. Jack, Mount, Foden are equally amazing. They offer different things to a team. Sterling and Rashford are wide forwards and give a team like England a lot more pace and goal threats, which the other 3 are not quite as known for. in this current England squad there is no shame in being left out of a particular game.
  9. Dude, can you use the quote tab please. jordon Sancho is a generational talent. He also didn’t get a start, let alone a bench seat. as I said, England has the best squad depth they had in years. And Jack didn’t get a start because Mount, Foden and Sterling started. 3 other world class players. The weakest one on current form scored the winning goal and the official motm. He was fantastic, great pick from Southgate. Jack will get his chance and he will get his chance to show his worth.
  10. Funny you say this as you’re ranting from an extremely biased stand point. yes Jack is great, so are the players that started today. They also played well today. England got the result they needed. So no loss Jack will get his chance this tournament, so will Luke Shaw, Ben Chillwill, Reece James and Jordan Sancho. This England squad has some fantastic depth. Probably the best there’s been in years. So, as deep as England get in the tournament they will not be relying on the same tired legs to get them through tougher matches.
  11. Unpopular option: I don’t care Jack didn’t play. England got the result they needed without him. Keeps him fresh for more important games later in the tournament. There’s nothing to cry about imo. Ty had a fantastic game, tho
  12. Outside of the “big six” the media know F all about any other club. When it comes to Villa and Jack, the only things they know is Jack, Ty and Ollie play for us, Jack gets fouled a lot, he has short socks and massive calf’s. I remember last summer, a lot of pundits were trying to claim Jack was a childhood manure supporter, just for a lazy transfer link
