What the f*** is with Kappa and weird sleeves? Our current kit has those dumb notches in it for no reason, and if we get obnoxiously long sleeves next season... just, what the hell. Make a normal shirt.

I fall in this 20%. I have a retro Champions of Europe shirt that I wear when I want to show off the claret and blue, but with current shirts I make sure to buy the craziest one we release every year. Just my style, I guess.

Give me a monochrome Badge on at least one of the shirts. Preferably the 3rd

I’ve never seen a club mess up a kit launch on an annual basis quite like Villa.

Potentially unpopular opinion: I don’t like white away kits. Too boring. Give me a classy away kit and a crazy third kit. Have loved our 3rd kit the past two years. lots of teams starting to release their new kits. I doubt we’ll see ours until the end of this season.

Let’s get this over with.

I spend my US Sports time watching the Vikings and other Minnesota sports. I’m used to heartbreak.

I’m only 7 years old in my fandom, but I can’t help but feeling the same.

I know it’s MLS, but they came up with a really cool idea I’m excited to see. Starting in July every team is going to Disney World to compete in a 26 team tournament. Similar format to World Cup or Euros with a group stage and then top teams advancing to knockout rounds. All group stage matches will count towards the regular season, and once in the knockouts the champion will earn a spot in the CONCACAF Champions League. It’s a fun way to restart, and it makes sense with covid. Every team in the same place, minimizing travel and limiting exposure to the public. Plus they’re going to be playing matches all day long every day, there will always be MLS on TV during waking hours while the tournament is going on.

I love the kits with the script club name abbreviations. West Brom did one a few years back.

Understand your point, but respectfully disagree. Trophies are defining moments for clubs and defining memories for fans. Beating Manchester City at Wembley would’ve been spectacular

Yep, I completely agree. They’re making it publicly seem like there’s an intention to finish the season, and buying time until an external force (likely, the government) “forces” them into making a certain decision. Then they will have a scapegoat to point towards when the decision inevitably upsets somebody.

I do not envy the position Prem officials are in. No matter what decision they make, somebody is going to be upset. The only thing I can see saving them is some sort of government mandate. For instance, a ban on groups of more than 20 until September. Even then, officials would have to decide whether to scrap this season or the next one.
