Have not but looks sharp. Gone after one of the quarter zips for training and I absolutely love it. Solid quality this year, massive upgrade from last year. Usually I’m a US large, went XL and fits well.

Believe it just happened with Traore, but how often are signings announced on a match day? Thats a genuine question. Seems like even if a deal is done, might be smart to hold off an announcement until a non-match day to generate additional interest in the activities of the club.

Have to think that 6 points from 2 league games this season has made the persuasion a little bit easier as well. Dean and co. can tell players all they want “this year will be different,” but it becomes much more believable with some evidence to back it up.

Where are you located (only answer if you want) and who do you support? Probably news to nobody based on my avatar, but my wife and I both grew up in Minnesota. We met at the U of Minnesota, and are season ticket holders to the Gopher football team (although that’s meaningless this year). My dad has had season tickets to Gopher hockey since the 1980s. Maroon and gold runs through my family’s veins, wondering if you have similar ties to a school. In my mind, college allegiances in America are similar to English football allegiances. Those ties run deep.

Seems like you’re pretty concerned with everything. We can’t build a European caliber side in one or two windows, it takes time, consistency, and money. I think all we can ask for this window is signing players to close the holes that were exposed in our Starting XI last season. Competition is great, but we aren’t at the point where £20 million signs us a player who can battle for first team football. To me, £20 million in current Villa terms mean we expect that player to be a consistent starter and an improvement. Now it’s up to the recruitment team to ensure we’ve dropped the £££ on the right pieces.

This match is showing me that we desperately need improvement on the right IF we keep Jack on the left. Only have caught the 2nd half, but our entire potent attack is going through Jack and leaving him on the left eliminates half the pitch that opposition have to worry about.

Yeah you’ll need both Peacock and NBC(SN). Kind of crap now that I think about it, making you pay for two services if you want to ensure you have access to every match. My guess is Villa will be on Peacock more times than not.

It was at least a month into the season. They even teased it between team news and kickoff for a match they didn’t even wear it for. Effing up kit releases, it’s the Villa way.

Can only speak towards kit because I didn’t get any training wear last year, but the size difference in the shirt is minimal. There’s a touch more room in the body, but nothing anywhere near significant enough for me to recommend people going down a size. If you were happy with the fit last year, stick with the same size this year. Unless of course some quarantine weight has been put on

Holy hell is this boring to watch.

The article is confusing. It says 175 matches will be on Peacock premium, but then later it mentions 205 will be on NBC/NBCSN. That adds up to 380, so every match will be televised. Some of them on peacock and some other ones on actual TV
