Very simple for me has had backing by the owners with $$$ signings players he wanted , full preseason no excuses  whatsoever time to deliver we cannot be seeing the same mistakes as last year.

This issue I have with the manager is that we don't have a identity or system and we keep on chopping and changing the side.

Absolutely garbage money spend to much talking not enough action we a weake mentally to.

Still think we're 2 to 3 players short to be a you 6 side.

Spot on has more talent then half the squad , we got to get the best out of him consistency wise to.

Overrated for me.

Not sure if he has the fitness to be a 90 minute player.

Still reckon we're 2 players short in the squad classic striker and a  attacking midfielder.

The guy has scored goals everywhere his played proven striker we got to play around him and a system to suit him also.

I.think his inconsistencies has come back to haunt him to many mistakes in games to often and may not be automatic starting 11 player.

I don’t even think his a regular starting 11 player at times very patchy in games goes missing alot always thought he was overated Martinez was the choice for me without a doubt screams leadership.

People may whinge , but his the only striker to hit double figures last 2 seasons in row for us 

Let's hope not just because his captain he plays has to warrant it.

I wouldn't sign another striker there is enough quality with Ings , Watkins and Archer developing nicely kid needs some game time.

Loved was it Mohammed Alpan was that his name was injured alot , but great defender through. 

Team has to improve and also himself as a manager or won't end well.

We need to sign still 2 or 3 signings for me get rid of some average players. Quality attacking midfielder , left back backup and central defender.

Since day one his been overated for me and we a going pass him as a side I don't see it at all with him.

Players and talent win.  Managers job is to be able to recruit as well.  We would not be signing Coutinho, Kamara, Digne level players with Smith here… if Jack stayed maybe it would be a different story, but the writing was on the wall when Jack left and Dean was unable to get the Ward Prowse and ESR deals over the line.

Say what you want about Stevie but he’s got us shopping in a different talent bracket now.  Whether he’s able to get results is one thing, but now we will have players that a top manager will want to manage.  Gerrard is moving us up in profile.

That's true without a doubt  , but results tell the story ultimately for our owners and fans profile is one thing we're in it to be successful. Been backed and will again this summer no excuses through with this squad teams above us spend quarter of $$$ and finished higher.

Not happy with our central defenders for me there not good enough to take us we're we want to go maybe Mings can. Defensive midfielder a must and a striker.

Crazy talk sell him lol who scored double figures last 2 seasons the next best striker Ings his missed heap of sitters hasn't worked .Still 26 will get better least of our issues get a striker that's quality to push him to get better.

How can you say we won't make many signings finishing 14th , either the squad is not good enough or the manager is not getting the best out of them simple as that.Our owners have backed our management it's time they delivered.

At the end of the day it falls on the manager and games like tonight we have no excuses plenty of quality in that team yet we continue to fail for reasons.There a sides above us that didnt even spend $$$$ quarter of what we did.
