He and the owners need to take full responsibility for the appointment of Gerrard. The process wasn't there; it seemed like Gerrard, and that's it.

When will our owners stop accepting this mediocre a manager playing football to save his job and Purslow dead silent about this utter garbage we lack football brains at villa Blind Freddy could even see.

It's very underwhelming, not covering it up his signing.

One of only a few who give heart and soul for the jumper and a true leader.

I think his created a toxic dressing room with issues preseason and the handling of certain players and team pity our owners haven't woken up.

Still no look in because our so-called midfield has been performing same names on the team sheet weekly and same outcomes.

How this was allowed to be signed off bewildering yet look at the current state of the team garbage absolutely clueless.

No statement or interview current state of the team bewildering to much control ownership has given him.

I agree haven't been impressed at all with Lange big wraps seen nothing.

Laughable how people can back him up he has no interests in football side and should have stayed out of it.  I have previously said he put in his mind Gerrard and that was it he was our manager poor process he needs to go aswell.

No doubt about it they aren't performing with the quality we have , but we look lost system wise game plan tactics everything we're not even doing the basics. To be fair to Gerrard though while I think it was an awful decision I also think Gerrard can only think about Villa to an extent whatever the knock on effect.

If Maguire still gets a game for England we'll anybody can with his form.

Not fan a of Gerrard, dont rate him, but he and everyone around him are not complete idiots

You can't say it's not common pattern through or isolated incident look at Sanson ,Traore and the Mings situation ridiculous.

My issue with him is his divided the dressing room and created a toxic vibe. The Mings situation handled so poorly , Sanson ,Traore and Guilbert been treated poorly and favouritism.

I accept that our soft mentality need’s addressing but not by falling out with the players and making divisions amongst them that is neither needed or helpful. The change of captaincy and the nonsense sprouted afterwards was completely unhelpful. There is also clear favouritism and a sort of bomb squad now too. Morgan Sanson is without doubt a victim of this. I didn’t realise he was largely injured under Deano, but is now not being selected rather than injured. For some unknown reason. 

Exactly and there is no second chance. The way Sanson  , Traore and Guilbert been treated is very poor and it's not like we're flying as a side to.
