My lasting impression of him will be him sticking his thumb up with a smile in the backseat of Grealish's car whilst Tshibola is Snapchatting him after saying "Gilly". Polite & total pro who isn't suited to British football. Good luck going forward Carles.

I agree. I'd love for Veretout to get another chance at Villa Park. He struggled settling in with a young family and found himself in a toxic football situation. Is it any wonder he didn't thrive last season? Very few did, if any. I'd hope that any of the continental contingent that came in last season get a chance to prove themselves at the start of this season if they want one.

Cracked today and got a home shirt with Petrov 19 on the back and a personalised away kit. Helped a bit by the battering the Pound has taken since Brexit...cheers Britain

Also lots of our players have 3-4 years left to run on their deals (Amavi, Ayew, Bacuna, Baker, Clark, Gestede, Gil, Gana, Richards, SInclair, Traore, Veretout & Westwood) so they might not be easy to move on.

It's odd isn't it? Mooy's great season in Australia and performances for the national team have had a lot of fans wanting a move back to Europe for him but he'll surely never crack their squad. Here's an article that looks at it further.

Could go either way on this one. Isn't one of the first players I'd want to see out of the squad but at the same time if we can get a decent price for him and he wants to play Premier League it's probably win/win.
