On on 46', off on 56'

If a 'bigger' team comes in for a player, they'd almost always want to move anyway, that's the reality.
Our current trajectory is helping us though.
-
Moot point anyway - No-one's gonna be in for him unless his decision making becomes more consistent, it's been horrendous the last two games.

Fair enough. He hasn't played all that much, so maybe I just don't appreciate it.
Tbf though, although I think it's underrated, I'd never have expected him to be in that (twice!).

Diego Carlos is more of a surprise!
His passing is quite underrated IMO.

Watching that mic'd up business with michael owen and Howard webb about the red vs spurs. Yeah look it's probably a red, but listening to the fourth official shouting FOUL FOUL and then the AR2 ref shouting down the mic WATCH THE REACTION. Like do you want to calm down? Why are you shouting?
Just ramping up the noise in the ref's ear. Just seems very unprofessional and unnecessary. Yeah it was probably a red, but if it was given as a yellow i don't think anyone would have complained too much.
Hard not to give a red when the assistant refs are losing their **** minds though.
"Watch the reaction" Glad they're basing their decisions on reactions rather than the foul itself

I live in Suffolk surrounded by Ipswich fans, many of them are convinced that Mings will one day return back to play for them
He supports them doesn't he? I'm sure he's been seen at their games as a fan.

A keeper that's hardly ever questioned (rightly so). Unheard of. Shows how amazing he's been for us.

Getting to that stage of the season where he is playing for his place in the Italy euro squad and a possible permanent transfer to Villa (or another team) and he is starting to show what a good player he is. Hopefully he keeps it up until the end of the season.
Are you trying to claim he's not been giving his all until now?

Fair enough if you feel that way. I'm not a professional footballer so can't exactly say either way, but I feel like having a decent pre-season with the team is incredibly beneficial to all players. Players who don't get that are always playing catch up a little bit in my mind. I could be wrong though.
Players themselves comment on it as well, Leon Bailey did the other day for example - mentioned how not having a pre-season in his first season with us hindered him.

I'm a bit puzzled why Emery choses Rogers over Zaniolo, imo Zaniolo is much better and complete player. Emery sees them in training so he should know, but I think Zaniolo contributes more.
Rogers' decision making is better, he releases players into space. There's one reason.

That was a terrible ball from Garnacho for the winner, finish lacked power but pin-point accuracy.

We're well known for piling multiple crosses into the "big man" aren't we..... If we're advocating a fundamental change in tactics to accommodate Duran we're entering Scot Hogan territory.
Duran is raw, it's understandable, but he doesn't help himself. He sits on the shoulder of the farthest defender with his arm up hoping for the Hollywood pass. He's got to do more than that and contribute to the team generally. It's a minimum requirement for a top level side.
He's got the physical attributes to be a monster. I just hope he's got enough sense to listen and learn from one of the best coaches in world football and put in the graft needed to improve.
He doesn't need crosses, he needs balls in behind and to feet. He didn't get either today.

Emery certainly trains them for hit and hope!
Nah think Cash did all he really could in that situation and up to an attacker to gamble on it.
Haha well obviously not but in that situation with no cutback on, that close to goal, I'm sure he'd have wanted him to shoot.

A good player playing for them instead of dropping out of squads could help raise their profile as well
