Baker>Lescott
Couldn't be less true now Lescott is picking up some form.

Whenever I've seen him get a game for other clubs in the past I've always thought he looked a good keeper. Great shot stopper and as Remi said, he brings calm to the back-line, rather than the panic attacks that Guzan brings with his edginess.

Holding onto draw?
Exactly...WTF?

Veretout is fine. Delivery was very poor today but he's clever on the ball and good at driving. Him and Gana must be in that midfield every game.

WTF is he making a sub with 45 seconds left when chasing a win?

Our crossing is so **** poor. Amavi can't come back fast enough.

Kozak has been woeful really.

We look much more confident in ourselves IMO

Does anyone of us actually class this as a derby? Anyway...come on boys!!

Love the guy but isn't he in Birm most of the time then?

The overhead kick against Norwich comes to mind. Was in the north lower that day. What a goal
That's the one I was thinking!

If only he converted that chance towards the end. That would have been the best goal I've seen at Villa Park in years and years.
Hmmm, Benteke scored some fantastic goals for us.

Wait, Kacaniclic still plays and is decent? I liked him, so that's good to hear.
Yeah, very good little playmaker.

Well I don't really wanna be bringing any negativity after a good win but I was at the Wolves game last night (Christmas present for my Dad) and why we've let this guy go I have no idea. Him and Kacaniclic were the two best players on the pitch, I saw him beat the full-back more in one game than Sinclair has done all season (no over-exaggeration!)
He doesn't just beat people with pace either, he's a bag of tricks, put a few good deliveries in and almost scored a curling wonder goal which hit the post. Only criticism would be that he should have crossed the ball earlier on a couple of occasions, but decided to skin the fullback again.
I know it's The Championship but he's an obvious talent, I'm sure he'll be back in the prem sooner or later. With him only being 20 as well, I have no idea why we've sold him.

Not hated at all are we? Apart from obsessed local rivals and Newcastle.

Gestede is a recognised striker, he's just woeful at premier league level.

1. Does anybody remember the noise made when the CL tournament changed and we suddenly lost a really brilliant way for lower teams to develop young players? Nope, neither do I. Why on earth was the club so silent? Did we have no response or action plan?!
What are you referring to here? I'm confused.

I agree he started well, but has been poor for months now. Needs some wise words from Remi and some time out of the team I think...
Who's gonna play CM instead though? Even in poor form he's better than Westwood.

The thing is...if he's not driving forward, who will? Veretout looks really good but not sure he's powerful enough either.

I think he's too lightweight, easily pushed off the ball and makes too many mistakes.
He's athletic, but you don't pay as much as we did for a bit of athleticism. He needs to improve.
He is definitely too lightweight ATM. Needs to either become stronger or become wiser as to when to just release the ball rather than trying to bustle past players, and then end up losing out.
-
People being harsh on him I feel. His first season in the Premier League, playing in an awful team with no confidence.
Showed quality early on and I agree has been poor since, still obvs a good player though. Let's bear with him.
-
Glad everyone now sees how terrible he is.
-
Selling a massively talented homegrown player because he's in poor form (and while the team is in woeful form)? Madness.
Let's bear with him and he'll become more than good.
-
He should have tried to intercept as Defoe was controlling it, gave him waaaay too much time.

I genuinely think this guy is class, huge potential.
