I think Bruce will go with this as his preferred 11.

Probably what I'd go for as well (assuming Bree is decent). Gollini > Johnstone as well IMO but that team on paper is very strong for The Championship.

  2. Saying a full-back who's good at going forward should be playing on the wing is quite simplistic though. Quite often a full-back will have nowhere near the guile and skill required to be a winger. They'll have much less space in front of them as an out-and-out winger. I would try him there but there's certainly no guarantee it will work, especially with the dreadful form he's been showing.

  3. Who's being linked with him?

He should be racking up the goals and assists in The Championship, and if we were controlling games (with a powerful, creative midfield) he'd be much more likely to be doing so.

we're starting to see the importance of Kodjia in our team now. Without him we lack a spearhead of our team and with that we lack goals.

With the woeful creativity in our team it's a good job we've got Kodjia who can create chances (and attacks) himself.

Chelsea? But...  Why? The guy has a terrible terrible attitude and has done that grand total of sod all in 2 years in English football.

Pretty obvious really...clubs/scouts will look much more in depth than that. He's a talent with enormous potential.

He's never been known for pace though has he. We are not getting the best out of him that's for sure. I'm sure the other 20 odd championship clubs would be more than happy to take him off our hands.

I'd obviously like to see all our forwards with something half decent coming from our midfield, but McCormack's struggling with the basics atm.

So how do you explain 66 goals in his last three seasons then? he cant be shit.

He's not shit, but he ain't doing it this season. He doesn't even show flashes of quality. His sluggishness reminds me of Rooney.

He just isn't though. He has very good close control.

Yeah this. Ayew has a very decent technique tbh. Weird comment to make saying he's only athletic. Have you watched him?

  9. If we ever start controlling games, him and Grealish will start to flourish. Gotta stick by them.

Not gonna do a lot when the ball is hoofed up to him and he's completely isolated with 2-3 defenders for company every time.
