It’s quite funny that Man Utd got absolutely **** battered by Brentford and fluked a point… then shortly after we absolutely battered Brentford and threw away a victory to get a point.
Yet we’re the ones who are going to collapse to at least 5 defeats in our next 6 and Man Utd are the ones who are going to go on a run of 6 victories to pip us to 5th
Mad how people twist things in their heads
In fairness, challenging for CL is new to most of our fans as well as our players. Of course we'll be nervous about it.

McGinn and Kamara are better.
Luiz is overrated on here. Good player but we treat him like he’s a world beater when I don’t think he is tbh. He’s been average a lot this season in matches.
Kamara is better, I agree. Kamara is different class. McGinn better than Dougie though? Not for me.

Nothing to do with the amount of injuries and suspensions? Or the fact we’re still in Europe? We’ll limp over the line, as these have taken its toll. It’s up to Emery to improve the squad in the coming years so this doesn’t happen.
Oh yeah definitely a factor without a doubt.

The post implied that we're mentally not as strong as them and that they wouldn't throw away 2 points against a team like Brentford. Which the facts don't support. I think we're pretty equal - we'll look invincible one match, less so the next. They are probably just about favourites for 4th at the moment but that could change next week or the week after.
I just feel like we haven't played consistently well for a long time. Our performances of late leave me feeling more deflated than optimistic. A sign of how far we've come in such a short space of time and how competitive the league is I guess.

We've dropped 5 points having taken the lead in matches this season. Spurs have dropped 20. But yeah apart from that.....
And yet they're above us with a game in hand and superior goal difference.

Yeah. It was a yard out with half the goal to aim at and hit it at 100mph off the post. It was literally a 0.99xG
Definitely not as they only had 0.83xG for the whole half.
The keeper was right in his face, can see why he thought he needed to blast it.

Am I crazy or was that clearly a punch to his stomach? Surely there’s video of it on Twitter already.
Commentators seemed quite dismissive of it and I think they only showed one replay. Absolutely bizarre. Definitely looked a clear punch.
When you think of the red Dougie got away to Fulham last season...unbelievable.

That Udogie has made a few fouls this half and only just been blown up for one.

Still looking at it...

So you can punch someone and it goes unpunished?

The term "good feet for a big man" is used so much I'm wondering if big men generally have better footwork. Maybe it should be "good feet for a little man".

That's like a lovely shiny bucket with a hole in it.
The first job of a CB is to defend.....if they can play out, that's a bonus. i.e VVD
Very simple view. If a defender is winning you more points than he's losing you because of excellent passing, why is one more important than the other?

Man United had a non-penalty VAR approved against them this week. Wolves have no chance.
VAR is shit, not corrupt.
The people making decisions using the VAR technology are **** idiots.

His decision making still infuriates me. Had a couple of opportunities for a cutback at 2-0 and failed to do so both times.
As good as he can be, I still view him as a bit of a fair weather player.

Got no problem with what he said, nor his performance, but wonder if it was the wisest thing to throw that out in public.
Firstly, even though he says he's referring to himself as part of the team, he's clearly having a dig at players other than him who let Brentford back in the game. Wonder how well that will be received in the dressing room.
Secondly, it's being spun way out of proportion with what he said, which was more a comment on the specific game. BBC reporting it as if he's said the club/team in general has no bottle.
Oh well. Quality player, and likeable too, has probably earnt the right to say stuff like this.
Speaking sense as always mate

It's awkward for him, he takes a step towards the cross as if he thinks it's going to be low or hit him, but then it's over him and somehow volleyed in. Really a bizarre goal to concede.

Oh I agree. But if I was manager of a team who needed a 6 and an 8 in equal measures, I'd fill the 6 spot with Kamara. Best way of explaining it I guess. Or in FM terms, IMO Kamara would have a higher CA/PA than Dougie. But that's just my view.
