As Mazrim points out, I doubt the new owners would agree to a deal that would see Man City being the main benefactors. We don't really know what the buy-back clause is anyway, it could be as simple as the right to bid for him first or something.
Honestly if Pep thinks highly of him he must have something. Yes the buy-back clause is a little worrying but I have faith the club will do things right.
Next season's team is certainly going to be interesting, hopefully the new faces gel well.
For people complaining about the price, they seem to forget just how expensive buying an English player can be these days not to mention the fact that 11 million (plus bonuses) isn't all that much nowadays.
That all said, a lot of mixed opinions of him. Some not particularly rating him. I trust Dean however.
England look awful out there at times, don't see us getting much further at this rate. Cameroon an embarrassment to the game in all honesty. Tough decision for them on that goal however.
I've been a big supporter of VAR, but there have been moments of this women's world cup where I really think it's NOT ready for actual use. Yes it was a penalty, but the new penalty rules are an absolute joke and should hopefully be changed. Some of the officiating in the tournament as been an absolute joke, improvement definitely needed.
Been really enjoying the women's world cup. But the difference in quality between the teams is pretty dramatic at times, hopefully that's something that will improve over time. Still, entertaining games to watch. Not convinced England are playing at their best right now.
Whilst I understand the connection, I don't understand Chelsea going for Lampard. Surely the club would want someone more proven.
That said, it'd be fascinating to see how he does at Chelski.
Is it bad that I don't think £20 odd million isn't that much nowadays considering the crazy transfer fees that players get these days. That said, no nothing about him.
I don't see Abraham happening myself, I think he'd prefer to fight for a place at Chelsea. Maybe if it's too competitive another loan deal for Tammy might be possible? Tuanzebe I think will be in a United shirt next year, United will most likely see massive squad changes and I think he'll certainly be part of that.
Right now the only ones I have confidence in happening are Mings and El Ghazi. What's peoples thoughts on Gary Cahill? Do you think he'd be a good get for his premiership experience?
Happy to see Micah and Ross go. I was shocked when I realised Richards was still even at the club, but I bet he's happy he got paid well to do pretty much nothing. As for Ross, delighted the club chose to get rid of him a year early. Talk about a waste of money.
