I'd imagine the Steven G link is a big attraction. Though I wouldn't be shocked if Newcastle throw insane amounts of money his way and he goes there instead. Suspect Newcastle will splash the cash big time this window.

Not sure how I feel about Coutinho. With the right motivation he could find some form again but I've watched a couple of games since his Barca disaster and honestly he's barely a quarter of the player he was for Liverpool.

Watching the Barca game last night and even the commentators were somewhat puzzled by Joan Laporta's comments regarding Barcelona's transfer dealings. The fact that the club as to sell more players to even allow Torres to play speaks volumes. They argued that a lot of this big talk is just a front to show strength to Barca fans and I agree.

There is one good thing about this transfer window, we won't have to endlessly read headlines linking Jack 'the snake' Grealish to every club on the planet. I'm excited to see where the club look to strengthen. As long as it's not just a bunch of Liverpool rejects.

There really needs to be a proper review of officiating in the English game. Even with VAR they continue to make such poor decisions.

Watford/Spurs might just be one of the worst games I've seen this season. Watford playing okay to be fair but Spurs are so poor.

Awful referring yet again, Watford attack stopped by the ref despite having an opportunity. Just shocking the level of referring today. Just baffling.
