I'd take the old man who manages the under 12's Sunday League team near me over Southgate at this point. So sick of him. -

We can but pray. Sadly doubt it, he's the FA's yes man and will probably kiss their backside yet again.

My biggest fear is the FA will be too scared to sack Southgate, they act like he's their golden child.

Jack has pretty much cornered himself into being an impact sub, amazing to think he was a certain starter for us. He looked poor tonight, among others.

And still, the English media will defend Southgate, absolutely awful yet again. The quicker they get rid of him the better.

I hope they eventually get rid of the Nations League, the whole tournament seems pointless. Filled with a bunch of players who just want to go on holiday after a tough season of football. Just don't see the point in it.

Honestly given Newcastle's vast wealth, I would have expected them to aim higher than Targett. Nothing against him, by all accounts he was a solid performer for them towards the end of last season. I find it odd that they aren't looking elsewhere with the wealth at their disposal.

The Nations League does nothing for me. I appreciate what it's trying to do but I imagine a lot of the players would rather be resting on holiday for the new season and with the World Cup kicking off soon. It just seems pointless.
