True, but I still maintain they made that goal through their excellent play from the back. Yes, we then helped them by being rubbish in defence, but I still love goals like that where half the team are involved.
That goal came from Donarumma's tricksy play and some real quality play out from the back. We absolutely fell for the "draw the attackers in" playbook and we're all over the shop when they broke. But they had so many passes in the buildup for that goal.
Curiously, Gabriel changed his lyrics on this live version, and because he tended to shout rather wildly I'm not sure anybody knows what exactly the lyrics ended up being. The original studio lyrics are pretty clear though. Apparently it's one of several songs of the early 1970s era (like "Won't get fooled again" by The Who) that are of the "all revolutions against dictators end up with another dictator" trope.
What a despicable Tory stooge that guy is. Blaming the voters of Birmingham. I'm absolutely fuming. Maybe he should look at the behaviour of his own party first.

Can't say that I understand this fully but it sounds like Alkmaar didn't want any LW fans in the city at all because some other festival was happening. No idea what all that voucher stuff was about.
And it sounds a bit like AZ locked the LW team in at the end and wouldn't let them out until all the fans had left, and I'm guessing that sparked off the confrontations with the players.
Were AZ being far too heavy handed?
Last night's little nugget along the lines of
"We all know that Watkins has been brought on to provide goals, but we didn't expect him to be providing assists" after he had been involved in several chance creations.
How is it possible to be so uninformed about a player?
