  1. From the match programme the other night:
  2. I watched that front of the Doug Ellis, it was ridiculous. Saka was nowhere near the ball, he just had no chance of getting to it, and it looked for all the world like Mings had just stretched and cleared the ball. It didn't even cross my mind that it could be a foul because Saka was just nowhere near it until he decided to carry on and get involved and leave his leg trailing.
  3. I like the P1 and the IO, I think they are great vfm I also seem to have become the owner of two different sets of Tannoy ("it's a brand name") speakers that are pretty cool even if they never really appear at the top of the "best speaker" lists.
  4. I mean, you are making assumptions about the wording there right? They should be more clear if it's an "and", as it is it's totally open to interpretation. And it is in no way debatable that they had control, that's just ridiculous. The rules suck anyway, as always.
  5. It literally says "the defending team gained controlled possession" which they did. Why are you ignoring that bit?
  6. It's true though. Probably missing a few Ws though ....
  7. Everywhere Aston Villa have won a game this season
  8. Interesting timing that the "super league" ban was ruled unlawful today and the uefa/FIFA aren't able to prevent clubs joining other competitions today. Could NSWE be waiting to see how that plays out before ploughing money into the stadium?
  9. Yeah, I actually almost don't hate it. The 150 thing is obviously not going to be present on other imagery, and whether the AV is extended to Aston Villa anywhere remains to be seen. I like the idea of the stylised font, but it just isn't legible enough. If it was a slightly more readable, simplified version I would be more on board with the concept I think.
  10. I think Birchfield Harriers and UK Athletics may have something to say about that....
  11. I get what you're saying, but the basics design elements are consistent across those images. The copy, the colours, the font... they may be different elements of an overall brand but the 76ers bit is always the same font, the same colour scheme, etc. If the Heck tweet is a "part" of a larger brand portfolio it would surely still have primarily the same font and colours etc? Otherwise it wouldn't be recognisably part of the same brand.
  12. Just looked on twitter and there is a clear difference. Mudryk's assault was far more violent than Kamara's misdemeanour. Yellow for Kamara and red for Mudryk seems fairer.
  13. The truth is that Kamara suffered a career ending injury in the Sheffield Utd game, and this shook the team so much that we didn't win again all season, Emery was sacked, the board lost interest and AVFC ceased to exist by 2027. Fortunately, the red card means that the above timeline (the darkest timeline) does not happen and instead we win all three of our next games, and Kamara returns refreshed and revitalised afterwards and goes on to become Premier League player of the season.
  14. That's right though isn't it? It's an "as it stands" table and Liverpool are currently playing
  15. I hope these guys are aware what awaits them next year. They are not a pub band any more. Talk about being catapulted into the limelight, they have suddenly made an album that has appeared on an awful lot of "best of" rock albums of the year. Wish i'd heard of them before and managed to catch them live in a pub somewhere.
  16. Good stuff. Didn't like how poor we became once the final round of subs were made, I think it wasn't really necessary, but overall a comfortable performance and result. Zaniolo I thought was good, diaby poor. Decent first start for Marschall, a couple of shaky moments but other than that did well I thought. Didn't think the goal was his fault at all.
  17. I get playing a weakened team, I get taking it easy, all that is fine. But the subs we have brought on are just a step too far imo. We didn't need to be struggling like this in the last few minutes.
  18. Apart from these two blunders I've thought he's looked excellent with the ball. I think it's just inexperience coupled with Chambers being on the pitch.
  19. Amazing by Mcginn. Especially when you see that the pitch gave way on him twice during that move.
