This Madrid-Schalke game is nuts.

He was challenging for the ball near the touchline in front of the Trinity Road Stand having run after his man from the middle of the pitch. I couldn't see anything he did that was a foul but my g/f reckoned he might have pulled a shirt. Looked very harsh from where I was sitting though. And no idea why the ref thought the second yellow was simulation. Good pass from him to set up the goal though.

I have to say, Tim's comments are really building up the anticipation for the Baggies match tomorrow. The atmosphere is going to be electric, and a lot of that will be down to Sherwood's comments. Fans of both sides are going to be really worked up for this and a lot of that is down to our new manager. I think this can only be a good thing.

I just sacrificed a Double Stout. Just to be sure, I am going to sacrifice a single malt now. That should be enough.

Currently at VMF for the third time. I genuinely think that, all things considered, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Location, food quality, price... I can't think of anywhere better in this country. Now, this experience isn't available on matchdays as far as I know. But if it was, well, that could be something amazing. Although it is very limited in terms of space...

So, this is my first post since joining after many years of anonymous lurking. Hi everyone! Now, as much as I enjoyed Solskjaer-gate and the various other managerial speculations, this one is turning out to be just amazingly entertaining. Pulis? Sol Campbell? Brilliantly crazy stuff, and I'm sure there is more to come. Oh, incognito avfc just posted 8 tweets. Haven't really got the hang of the character limit thing have they :-) So there are three candidates they say, and it sounds like no appointment soon to me.

Hi all, Longtime anonymous lurker here. Finally decided to become a full member after the Hull debacle last night! Last game attended - the F.A. Cup game against Bournemouth where I was lined up nicely along the edge of the penalty area (in the Trinity Road stand) to see Gil's fantastic goal from a perfect vantage point. Interesting things about me: I play drums in various unsuccessful bands, I wrote an even more unsuccessful comedy sci-fi novel set in Birmingham that nobody would publish so I did it myself, and I worked in the BBC in the Mailbox for several years which could be very infuriating at times as a Villa fan! Currently I do computer programming and am hoping to make custom drums as a sideline/hobby.
