I think it was always a complete longshot, but from the reports it does seem to have been a genuine attempt. It would have been really good to have a couple of new players with potential to develop into decent PL performers to integrate into the team now so that (hopefully) next year we can kick on without another complete rebuild. One step at a time though.

Still a while to go, but if he's going to still be here I hope RDM will be big enough to build bridges and get the best out of him. In this new team I think he could be really useful in providing assists to the front men, with a bit more steel around him in midfield and a stronger defence behind. Certainly think he could offer more than Adama.

Yeah - what they've said. Apart from a vague bit of novelty reporting - Villa in the championship LOL type - coverage is chronic. It's nice to not always be losing and to have a bit of hope. But I would prefer that to be the case while we're in the PL. The stakes are so high for us I think by the end of the season it won't be fun anymore, it'll be unbearable tension. Particularly if it comes to playoffs.

Would be excellent if it were someone other than Jedinak (assuming the Jedi still comes as well).
