Horses for courses innit. I'd probably bench Thor for Sheffield when we are likely to need more defensive solidity (assuming Jedi / Whelan are fit), but start him at home to Burton when we should be attacking and aiming to up our goal difference,
Also interesting (and quite chastening) that the best team in the Championship still can't beat the worst team in the Premier League in 2 attempts. (I know Cup games etc...)
It will be interesting to see if taking the soft-centred, don't-like-it-up-em, forrins of Wolves away for winter sun this week helps them or makes it worse when they come back. Let's hope the arctic winds are blowing through Portman Road next week.
This is probably true, but it would be interesting (theoretically) to see what would happen if he was working with Agnew and alongside Grealish etc. But not sure I would risk the stability and apparent squad cohesion to give him another chance.
It's probably been a slower turnaround than most would have liked, but I look at Sunderland and think of where we were heading. That hits home for me how truly terrible a state we were in. The road back hasn't always been smooth but it seems we are on our way.
I'm excited about this. We don't seem to have many doubtful so assume that it'll be pretty much unchanged. Really hope Bristol can get something tonight, but even if not we keep the pressure on. 2-0
Although this year is looking like it could be a lot closer for 2nd. No-one's pulled clear. I think there will be a fair bit of jostling for position and is likely to come down to no more than a couple of points - hopefully in our favour!
