  1. Come on Bolton and Wednesday - you need a few points to make yourselves safe. How about tonight please?
  2. It's interesting. I was of the 'wouldn't mind him being replaced once he's got us up' mindset, but (and this possibly should have been blinking obvious) the more we're winning and therefore getting towards achieving promotion, the more that seems ridiculous. We're playing well. There is a very obvious team spirit. It would be crazy to throw this away for the gamble that is a new manager.
  3. That was the plan - All sold out as well.
  4. Wolves have a tricky little run coming up. Extremely unlikely, but if they stumble a bit it could get interesting - say close the gap to 6/7 before the last 10 games.
  5. Bit gutted. Faffed around waiting to see which of the kids could come with me to this and ended up missing out completely having been thinking about it for months. Idiot.
  6. Loving the Derby fans spinning it that it's better for them now the pressure is on us. Just keep doing our business as we have been and we can pull clear over the next few weeks. Ideally get to the point where the Derby game (and Millwall) is immaterial.
  7. Would have had Green instead of Whelan, but can understand Jedi in for this one.
  8. Millwall fan tonight, Norwich tomorrow. Fair chance of some points to be gained this weekend.

  10. Fair enough. Football does love a 'narrative' - but, yeah - Jack's turn (or Andre, or Kienan...)
  11. Let him have a testimonial for that. He doesn't justify a place in the squad for any other game and we'll be in danger of expecting to have the 'Gabby factor' if he gets picked. Time to move on - we have more than enough to beat these without Gabby and shouldn't mythologise his past performances. IMO.
  12. I reckon we could benefit from Agnew's coaching in a number of areas throughout the club. In fact... Start spreading Agnews.
  13. ... Unless they get him in to replace Conte.
  14. It's a no from me. Time to move on. Hogan to start, Grabban to come on if needed.
  15. Yes - it's irrational, but me too.
  16. Hopefully creating an opportunity for Hourihane to thunderbastard a freekick at some point.
  17. Yep - I'd keep him. We should take the game to them and try not to even consider that it's a derby. If we sit back and worry about what they do it'll get scrappy, the crowd will get nervous and the players tense up. Play our game and let them worry about how to stop us.
  18. I've done exactly this . (My youngest is a soprano who sings in the occasional opera at the moment!)
  19. I'm not even going to begin to speculate on Bruce's future until May (or possibly late April).
  20. It really is insanely tight this year. Will be a nervy run in for a lot of sides.
  21. Still a bit over defensive on the bench, but as expected.

  23. Errr - we have 52 points from the last 26 games!
