  1. Excited to see that front 3. Hope they perform as anticipated.
  2. Upper mid table clash between two evenly matched inconsistent sides. Could be pretty much any result tonight (obviously) but don't see any reason we can't win this.
  3. Doesn't make that much difference at the Emirates TBH. It's like a library.
  4. ... And a bit harsh on Hause. Think he needs to be getting more game time as would be a shame to lose him.
  5. Still really waiting for us to get the wide boys back, but this is a good, strong attacking side. Hope Sansom gets a few (uninjured) minutes.
  6. Don't like Sunday kick offs when we're playing well. I want it NOW!
  7. Yeah - Not so long ago it was a top 6. Spurs and Arsenal both look upper mid-table at best these days. Chelsea had a wobble, but Tuchel has really sorted them out. Man U is still the one that could implode - a couple more bad results, whiny bitch OGS out on his ear and get the next manager wrong and who knows... 5th to around 12th is going to be pretty tight I reckon, but we have as good a chance as any. Keep the progression going and kids coming through and breaking into the top 4 in the next couple of years could happen.
  8. I know we've (happily so far) moved on, but it's a shame we didn't have this fella here when Grealish was winning free kicks all over the place. We never really made the most of the opportunities he created.
  9. Oh yeah - missed the cup, was thinking league. That's fine then - no duck to break against us.
  10. Slight worry that Kane has yet to score and we know what happens when a player in a drought plays us... That said, the level we're played at for the last few matches should be enough to get something out of this. 3 points would be amazing.
  11. I hope Emi gives Jed a few pointers on how to get the upper hand in a penalty situation.
  12. Concentrate on the league time, I think.
  13. Great win. Possibly flattering score, but evens out last week. Still would prefer 433 and get Bailey and Buendia on, with ings and Watkins having to take turns.
  14. That's who I'd start. Ings looked a bit lost yesterday, but is a great option to bring on if we are chasing. Bailey had a good cameo and I'm looking forward to seeing him properly terrorise a defence.
  15. Pretty sure Tuchel thinks he's shit, so only keeping a seat warm. No way he'll get game time.
  16. But, but I thought Watkins couldn't get injured and had never ever missed a game so we didn't need another striker?
  17. It feels quite different to last season. We didn't know what to expect and the first few wins were such a delight. Now, these are the games we expect to win and even against the top 4, now expect to give them a good game with a decent chance of a result. Winning mindset but heavier weight of expectation. Make it so, lads.
  18. Fair point - maybe that's why he said 18 months. Anyway - we'll never really know. I still expect we'll see another couple of bodies in - with the ambition of our owners, they won't want to miss the chance of getting ahead of plan by sitting on £100m with a negative net spend.
  19. Assuming that Jack might have stayed if we had European football, and Dean said we are 18 months behind where we could have maybe kept him, my detective work surmises that this year we'd like an improvement (obvs), but next year is the target for hitting Europe.
  20. Until they misplace a pass, after which they are shit.
  21. If Emi2 is fit, I'm looking forward to an 'Ings Binge' headline as he puts 4 past them. In reality, would be happy with 0-1, first clean sheet and 3 point on the board.
