Boro’s away record is 4th best in the league. They’ve managed more points away than both they and we have at home.
I’ll take a 1-0 win instead of the 3.
Get him up to speed and settled in the back 4 in time for the play offs. Hause left back, Elmo right. Rest of the team as the one that started v forest. I’m confident we can beat anyone.
Amazing that this thread nearly dropped of the first page. Must mean he’s doing alright.
Anyway I was surprised when he said Grealish gives Mings the armband when he goes off and it’s not something Smith instigated.
You’d have thought the vice captain before the game would already be decided. Guess maybe not.
I disagree mate. He has lost a yard of pace and it’s made him very predictable. He’ll be used from now and until the end of the season but I’ll be amazed if he is not sold in the summer.
I think the fact some are praising Kodija for his cameo is more a reflection on how bad he has been at times this season rather than him having a good game.
I think people are forgetting how good he was before his injury.
I’m sure he offers his ideas and suggestions but ultimately Smith will make the decisions.
I don’t even know what a yes man means for an assistant or why the original poster thinks he is one.
Whether you blame him for the goal or not the important thing for me was how he recovered. It didn’t phase him at all which means he is confident. Crucial for any player but in particular a goalie.
Kalinic is the better keeper but he never looked confident to me. I can see Steer staying in goal for the rest of the season.
He does but he is such an athlete any positional mistakes he makes he is able to recover from due to his sheer strength and power. Taylor is probably one the most lightweight defenders I’ve ever seen.
We look a lot more solid than we did for Smiths earlier good run. Back then we were conceding too many clear cut chances. Derby and Blues could have both been 2-0 up the games we beat them. I remember Chester clearing off the line v Bolton too. Then there’s the 5 v forest.
Apart from Gardner’s miss against Blues I can’t remember too many clear cut chances being created against us in the last 3 games.
Could do with them drawing to boro and losing to Milwall.
edit: the April fixture list is horrendous so it will be interesting to see how Bristol cope with even more games!
they’ve got 9 games in a month.
