Still can’t beleive we shelled out £12m for a player that had 5 good months in his championship career. Biggest gamble since we got relegated and typical of the mismanagement the club has seen for years.

I don’t think I’ve seen a team sit that deep this season. It was just a case of break them down and we’ve won. Awful manager and awful football. Grealish had a field day. -

I think a combination of the return of Jack, change of keeper, solid centre halves and Smiths coaching/training starting to show on the pitch has made us a real force.

The current team for me. We press higher, move the ball much quicker, have much better off the ball movement, more energy and control games much better. Last seasons team was more about being solid and nicking goals on the break which was great when we took the lead. But we really struggled when went behind.

I would argue he was unfortunate Grealish missed 13 games.

The standard in this league is so low the 15th placed team is currently 2-0 up against one of the best teams in Europe. Yeah it’s an awful league.

6th place is after 37 games last season had 61 points. Based on that I think it’s possible around 72 points could do it this year.

He’s shutting a few people up every game. It’s great to see they’ve al gone quiet. Happy to see this thread drop down the pages as it’s normally means we are winning. Long may it continue.

It was me. He’s like a magnet to the ball and oozes class. Everyone will point to Grealish retuning for our change in fortuning but let’s not forget that this guy and Hause look unbeatable!

That was ridiculously comfortably against what I think is the best defence in the league who came to park the bus. A few motm contenders but gave it to Whelan has he swept up and kept pressure on superbly. Carry on like this and Players stay fit from now until the end of the season and we’re going home! If we don’t go up at least all fans will get behind Smith for next season. -
We also had no Jack and 3 right backs in defence and Nyland in goal. No chance would they do that again.
