  1. This is the problem Bayern used to have under Pep. They would wrap up league with 10 games to spare then lose their sharpness in the semi finals of Champions league.
  2. It’s the one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard.
  3. Let’s not go nuts. Milner was doing it at the highest level.
  4. I’m really suprised by the comments on here. He is showing great maturity in trying to play one touch football and in to the feet of the players around him. His movement is good too and you can tell he is learning to play Smiths way. Yes his first touch is crap at times and he seems to drift out of games too soon. But surely you can also see how much potential he has at 20 years of age? edit: I’ve seen much more from Green than I ever saw from RHM and O’Hare yet they seem to be more highly regarded by some fans.
  5. Problem with Leeds is they are not clinical enough. Losing Roofe may have cost them automatic promotion as Banford keeps missing sitters. Shef United are very organised and have great team spirit but I think in a very high pressure situation like a playoff final they could struggle. Albion have the best team on paper but will lack direction with no manager: They’ll be no standout favourite like their was last year.
  6. Rotherham’s home record is decent. Only 6 less points than we’ve managed at home which is pretty impressive considering they are in the bottom 3. This is going to be a tough game.
  7. My mate who supports Leeds is confident they would beat us in a final but not over 2 legs...
  8. Bookies are offering £40 cashout now for my £9 bet @25-1 for promotion. You can still get 16-1 on Derby.
  9. It’s amazing how differently fans can see players.
  10. I thought he played really well first half but wasn’t in the game second. I like him and think he has a great career ahead of him.
  11. I’d still love to see this from a different angle. He must have been offside surely?
  12. If Derby win every games they are in the playoffs too. As it stands all three teams currently have their fate in their own hands.
  13. Agree this is the best outcome as long we beat Bristol too.
  14. He was much better yesterday. For Smith to bring him on the wing whilst we were under a lot of pressure tells me he has been working hard in training and convinced Smith he ready to fight for the team. Good to see.
  15. Bruce just didn’t rate Steer for whatever reason. The new setup came in and didn’t really get a chance to look at Steer up close because he was out on loan but could only assume if he is loaned out when our keepers are Nyland and Bunn then he will not be good enough. So understandably they had to get someone in ASAP so secured a long term target. Edit: Wolves had Ruddy in goal. Was Paul Jones their manager once?
  16. Could be, had a derby feel about it. Ref didn’t help either.
  17. He wasn’t awful he has just set his own standard so high that any mistake really stands out. He still won a ridiculous amount of headers and dealt with most of what Sheff Wed through at us.
  18. Crucial save by Jed. Fair play to him. Apart from the save though I think he struggled a little bit yesterday with the amount of crosses that came in. He flapped at a few and looked in no mans land for others. Saying that I think Kalanic would have struggled with it to, probably even more so. Not many teams will be as physical as Sheff Wed were yesterday.
  19. I reckon Norwich players will all be hungover by then.
  20. The OP only gave him credit for his substitutions. That is such a small part of management in my opinion yet seems to be scrutinised more than anything at times!
