Fair enough. But if I went home and touched people does that make the doctor responsible for me spreading the meningitis or was he just no help to me? It sounds like the Catholic Church could be doing a lot more to prevent the spread of aids. They are certainly not helping the situation by the sounds of it. I just struggle to see how they can be accused of being responsible for it.

At 5.15pm exactly 100 years ago, Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer marched into an area of scrubland about the size of Trafalgar Square in #JallianwalaBagh in Amritsar 50 fully armed infantry and ordered his troops to fire on a crowd of thousands.... Documentary tonight on channel 4 9pm. Worth watching.

I have no idea what that’s meant to mean. So people won’t use a condom because God said they can’t. But they can have sex before marriage and cheat on their wives as long as god isn’t looking?

A few weeks back a few mentioned that it’s a fact that the Catholic Churchs views on contraception led to the spread of aids in Africa? Now I’m not disputing whether this is true or not, but doesn’t the catholic church teach no sex before marriage and also the importance of monogamous relationships?

Rotation, keep it fresh. I think we looked more balanced with him in the team to allow Mcginn and Grealish to go forward. As @TRO has mentioned many times in this league you need a big defender that is good in the air first and foremost. It’s a very direct league with lots of crosses and set pieces. Bruce used to get a lot of stick for playing Jedinak at the back but I never thought he was that bad. My anger with Bruce about playing him there was down to him playing players out of position instead of getting cover. I actually think he always did ok.

I though we actually looked decent first few games. Before Sherwood got sacked we lost every game by the odd goal. No team smashed us. -

I find it amusing how fans are saying no and how awful it would be. Yeah it would be truly awful to have owners that want to own the best team in England and eventually Europe and actually have the financial clout to make it happen. Edit: Pretty sure it’s b*••shit anyway.

He was our captain and continued to play with an injury so id be very surprised if that’s the case. As @TRO mentioned I think it could be due to the seriousness of injury. Watch the press conference if you haven’t already. Am I reading too much in to it or did Smith almost make a point of not wanting to talk about Chester.

To be fair to young Villa lad Smith said the same thing in his press conference. He also said he knew a week ago and we've won 2 games in April so no need to worry about the curse.

Anyone else notice that Smith didn't mention him when asked about his availability? He seems to talk about Hutton and Elphick and then stopped short. Seemed a little strange.

They were but had we won them Bruce might have been in charge for longer.

I agree and throughout the season it had happened too often. But we have to remember this is still Bruce’s teams Smith is working with. I still think there will be wholesale changes no matter where we end the season.
