If they sold to these guys and we got promoted. It would be a complete game changer. We won’t be shitting ourselves about losing Jack Grealish. We’ll be signing even better than Jack Grealish! But it’s all b*llocks anyway and this thread and story will soon be forgotten.

Fair play mate. I’ll have to dig up the post as can’t remember myself. To be fair I was blind to Xia as well. For some reason I genuinely believed he was ridiculously rich and was only unable to spend because of FFP.

Some pundits have said the ref bottled it due to the crowd. Whilst I don’t like seeing games decided by crap refereeing I do think its natural for a ref to feel pressure from a very strong home crowd. That’s what home advantage is all about and why it’s important to fill Villa park for the last 3 games. The players respond and the ref feels the pressure. Villa park should be a fortress. Plus as you say we should have won that game comfortably. Keeper had the games of his life!

To be fair I think Eddie Howe is the benchmark for this and miles ahead of any English manager. What he has done and is still doing with such a small club as Bournemouth is miraculous.
