    My Motm. Wanted the ball and was looking to run at defenders. He stands out. Also I think he is really enjoys playing for the club and is desperate to get us promoted. When Hourihane scored he didn’t seem to want to stop hugging him. We’ve got a strong team spirit and players and fans are all united. It’s great to see.

    I don’t think that first foul warranted a yellow. But for him to then go 85 minutes with foul after foul without a yellow was criminal.

    I think Smith was right to start Whelan but wrong to not change it at half time when it was clear that Albion were parking the bus. I always wonder why managers are scared to make changes at half time.

    He has that error in him unfortunately. He is good when the opponent shown some willingness to get forward. When a team park the bus it feels like we have a back 3.

    I’ve given Smith an average today because it was blatantly obvious Hourihane had to come on half time. Was suprised it took so long. We weren’t at our best today but that Albion performance would have made Pulis proud. I think we can beat them on Tuesday.
