I don’t think United have any intention of playing him next season. If the price is right they will sell. I reckon 10-15 million would do to it which is a lot of money for a player that has never really played in the top flight.
I agree he has that error in him. We hadn’t seen it since the blues game though and he has been playing well. I think he struggles against players that press at times. He needs to stay switched on if he starts.
I couldn’t make last year so didn’t go in the tickets thread. Was there as much as a buzz about the game as this year?
The feel good factor is there for players and fans. I don’t think we had that last year.
For the record I’m not for a second saying Mcginn is a better player than Milner. My original post was around how hard he works. He just doesn’t stop for 90 minutes.
For me the best thing about going up will be having a chance of keeping the core of the team intact.
Losing Axel, Grealish, Tammy and Mings will feel like starting all over again.
I guess Norwich managed it buts it’s hard to take.
I personally think if you’re at your desk it means you’re approachable for work. Especially if it’s something important.
These days a lot of people eat while they are working. I suppose the website could have been a giveaway but then a lot of people surf the web whilst working too.
There’s plenty of places to go and have your lunch.
5th choice! Even better.
We only have one recognised left back so I dread to think what we would do if him and 3 other alternatives were unavailable.
Cole will know what to do but at some stage he will have either Adomah or El Ghazi running at him with Elmo overlapping. Does he still have the legs?
I’m not sure what winning everything in the game has to do with fitness. Terry has won everything too but I still wouldn’t want him playing at centre half.
I don’t think all the off the field stuff will affect them. But i do think having to play their 3rd choice 38 year old left back will. We really have to target Ashley Cole.
Believe it or not they probably did. It wasn’t spur of the moment it was manufactured.
Yes he may well be a prick. I personally think he was just very naive.
edit: just realised I’d already responded. Had one too many tonight.
I honestly can’t think of anyone that works has hard as this guy as my time as a villa fan. Seriously he is something else. Happy to be reminded of someone that left more on the pitch?
You’re in good hands with Bruce. It won’t be pretty but it will be effective. He will probably get you to playoffs and then anything’s possible. In the transfer market he’s not to bad either. He knows he need one or two special players to be the difference whilst the rest are shutting up shop.
As for Onomah. He ain’t gonna make the difference but he ain’t gonna make you worse. Basically a signing that keeps you ticking over if that makes sense?
Now get the hell out of our transfer thread!!
