    I’m realistic mate. The response was to @Demitri_C who mentioned earlier he doesn’t think we should spend big because we have internationals in the squad. I’m pointing out that the fact that are internationals is irrelevant and gave my reasons why I think that. We need massive massive investment. I think some of those players above need to be purely squad players if we have a hope of staying up. Edit: I whacked £9 on us to get promoted at 25-1 at the start of March so I’d like to think I’m actually a positive thinker.

    Kodija couldn’t even get in our championship side. Elmo turns 32 in September. Chester has publicly admitted his injury means he may never be same again. Taylor was probably our weakest link last season. Kalinic couldn’t get in the team and Hogan is shit. Yes they are all have caps but I’m struggling to see how that means anything for next season.

    I do wonder how confident the club really are in their plan. The task looks so daunting. As it currently stands I’d put as us favourites for relegation. Obviously that should all change once the season starts and the transfer business has been done.

    He will have that sweet left foot regardless of what league he is. Whilst he probably won’t start most games he will definitely play his part next season. As others have mentioned he is better than a lot of midfielders we’ve had in the squad over the years whilst in the top flight.

    To be fair all the top teams struggled near the end of the season too. The games come thick and fast and the pressures on. I think city won something like 5 or 6 games in a row by the odd goal.

    Probably been mentioned but ‘Acura Sports News’ on twitter saying medical Wednesday before a 25m move. Looking at his other posts he did call the Jota move a couple of days before hand. But this latest bit of ITK seems a bit fair fetched. Ive never heard of this player but then again I’m totally out of touch with La Liga since it stopped coming on Sky.

    Hate to say it but with a 60k capacity stadium, the London factor and with Pellegrini in charge they could actually look a decent proposition. Wouldn’t surprise me if they signed him.
