Ok I didn’t quite word my post right. You said you think they will be having FFP problems very soon so will sell on the cheap. I’m telling you they won’t be. They have players they are prepared to sell to reinvest in the club. They have other players they do not need to sell. That doesn’t sound like a club in trouble to me.

In this case the player could already be settled there though. He is quite young though so probably not got family to consider. Anyway if Palace real are in for him and he chooses to go there. Then f**k him.

I think they are at the moment. They’ve become an established Premier League team. The last thing a player wants is a chance of ending up back in the Championship in a years time. Any players we sign will have to be sold the vision.

Seen some more links on Ampadu. Normally I wouldn’t have a problem with this is he improved the team. But after hearing Purslows comments, especially the on the record part. It would be disappointing if we then went and loaned a youngster with no chance of signings.

Wasn’t Delph signed from league one and Leeds were also desperate for money? Had he been in the championship and Leeds wernt in such a mess he would have cost more. I agree it’s not just the tv deal that has increased championship valuations though. It’s hard to pin point what it is. Maybe Championship clubs are better run these days so are not in a desperate need to sell their top assets and can ask for a lot more?

Didn’t realise Jimenez for Wolves was on loan. He has now been signed for 34m. Southampton have signed Danny Ings for 20 million. Was he that good for them last season? The money really is crazy.

Steer was dismissed by the past management twice. Nobody knew he could or would he good enough. It suprised everyone. Kalinic signing made a lot of sense at the time and most people said that.

£35m + Hogan is the equivalent of £36m We should offer £35m plus Hogan on loan with us supplementing his wages.
