To be fair nobody is saying we are going down. They are saying IF we do not sign a certain number of player we will go down. I don’t see any panic, hysteria or hyperbole on this forum just yet.

I’m happy for Steer to be given a chance with Kalinic as our number 2. My bigger concern is sorting our defence out.

To be fair to play as a sweeper keeper under pressure is a weakness for most keepers apart from the very best.

All the this talk of a new keeper has been nothing but speculation. As far as we know the club may feel Steer and Kalinic are adequate for the Premier League.

Did I say he was shit anywhere in my post? He just let in a hell of a lot of long rangers. Obviously he was a world class keeper but I’m sure even you can admit he is an exception. Actually probably not...

I remember I was watching Premier league greatest goals once and there was a ridiculous amount of long rangers against Barthez in there. 5.11 is probably a bit too small for a top keeper.
