I think he had 2 good seasons. Hogan had half a good season. I see where you’re coming from though. He would be a big risk at 20 million. I don’t think we are signing him anyway. I think we will sign Benramha who although has also only had one season, just oozes class.

With the money that Lerner was prepared to spend we really should have got closer to top 4. So much money was wasted. However saying that when I looked at the squad that managed 6th 3 seasons in a row it makes me realise how much stronger the league is now and how much we over achieved. I think the squad MON assembled would be a midtable table team these day and be nowhere near top 4.

He’s an idiot. 2 seasons in a row he’s tried to be a hero and win a cup which has led to ridiculous number of games in a short space of time costing them the playoffs. Then he moans about injuries and number of games. Now he has another 4 years to continue making the same mistakes!

Only if we find value. If we are spending the same amount on a player from those leagues you just mentioned I’d sooner we signed Webster who is regarded as one the best defenders in the Championship. Also Wolves defence last season had 3 players out of 5 that came from lower leagues.
