  1. El Ghazi goal v Forest. Although there was still a lot to do.
  2. He was only first choice because they’re was no alternative. Agree with your post though.
  3. I’ve never seen him play so can’t really comment. As for the fans opinion of him most fans don’t know what they are talking about but if pretty much all of them are happy his leaving then it’s a bit worrying.
  4. Can’t help but question why Southampton are letting him go. Maybe he wishes to leave for first team first football? Hes young, English, has both championship and Premier league experience. Seems a bit pricey but I guess that’s what you pay for young talent these days.
  5. Talk of Charlie Austin was painful enough but now I wake up to Shane bloody Long!! What are you people doing to me!!??
  6. Wernt we linked with Target last summer? So let me get this straight. Out of all the left backs in the world both the previous management and the current management see a player that can’t get in to the Southampton team as our number 1 target for a left back? I smell more lazy bulls**t journalism with this?
  7. Next time somebody points to a player being good because he has played in the champions league. I will give you Thor. Good luck to him though. Always gave his all and played his part.
  8. If this is true then it wouldn’t surprise me if Webster handed in a transfer request. You can’t stop a young lad playing in the Premier League when the club that wants him are also offering ridiculous money.
  9. What you talking about? Rudy was a star!!
  10. I think that says more about our signings than about Scott Sinclair. He was another one who gave up so easily without a fight the year we went down.
  11. Yeh that was way before he turned shit and lazy. Which was probably about the time we bought him.
  12. All those against signing Championship players are right. I think we would just sign some highly rated young players from Europe and the French league in particular and play them alongside some older British based players that have had lots of Premier league appearances. Thats the way forward...
  13. He’s exactly what past managers would have signed from Mon to Bruce. I think that’s why it would be so infuriating if we signed him.
  14. If this happens I will tear up the season ticket I haven’t bought yet.
  15. I would argue the Championship is stronger. One example - I don’t think Scott Sincler would have offered much in the championship but he tore the Scottish Prem apart.
  16. First Gardner and now Redmond! Are you closet bluenose or something?
  17. Every league will produce the odd top player. The standard in the league is generally pretty poor.
  18. This guys full of shit. Tweeted villa fans with a shocked face and then said there was a Mings bid a few minutes later. When questioned about it hardly being shocking news he got all upset about it. Then you got all those desperate for ITK snippets from him licking his bum and apologising.
  19. Austin signing would be on the level of Harewood in terms of anti climax. I’d feel deflated.
