If he did so a few months after taking the role and they were against him leaving, I would say yes he would be a dick for walking out on them. I wouldn’t blame him for doing so. But it would be a pretty shit thing to do.

Surely if a players strengths are his fitness and graft then it it’s the Championship where he would thrive? Ive seen him in International football and I admit he does the donkey work well. He is like the water carrier as someone once described the role. But I don’t get how the Championship being ‘’bulldog’ football as you describe affects his ability to control and pass a ball? Am I missing something?

Stoke? If he was that good wouldn’t he have been snapped up by a top flight club? I have no problem with him staying. I genuinely hope he is over his injury problems and can play a part next season. But if 7.5m is true then that would be very good business in my opinion.
