He got done a bit to easily early on in the game but he generally seems very dynamic. I have a feeling he will be great going forward but a little suspect defensively.

Maybe I’m being harsh but I think he got lucky with the finish. He hit it straight at the keeper.

I thought he played very well today. A lot better than both Green and O’Hare. Very direct and caused problems. Still think he could do with being loaned out to a championship team for a year but the potential is there.

He was decent but wouldn’t say best player on pitch. I think Lansbury and RHM also looked good second half.

We looked better second half. More direct. First half everything through Jack and all too predictable.

Whilst I don’t think Green has looked particularly very good I don’t think he has looked any worst than the rest of the team. I think Guilbert looks good coming forward but got done a few times defending. But he seems to have already become a fan favourite on here so it probably won’t get mentioned.

Exactly this. I get fans of other clubs suggesting how good he would be for us as they don’t get how the club now works. But when Villa fans think he would be a good signing it’s just shocking.

I don’t mean to pick on you mate but I hear the same crap from my mates that support Liverpool. They say what a good signing Sturridge would be for Villa. I find it patronising and it just sums up how they know nothing about our club to think he would be suitable for us. I’m seeing the same from you. So when I see fans of other teams come on Villa forum saying what a good signing he would be for us I does wind me up.

From what I have read nobody is forecasting doom. Most are forecasting staying up with anything else as a bonus. I just think you have to be careful if you are expecting more.
