I’m not saying they are all shit. I’m just saying they all went there for the money. It wasn’t a criticism and I don’t blame them for doing so. Maybe mercenaries sounds abit harsh So do you reckon they all went to Turkey to continue to showcase their talents at the highest level?

The word mercenaries springs to mind. Trying to buy the title with a team of has beens doesn’t suggest a strong league to me.

I think we underestimate the Championship because we watch it. The football doesn’t seem great at times but it’s bloody solid to play in. Everyone beats everyone!

Really? Top 2, 3 teams aside I’d be amazed if they Turkish league is of a higher quality than the Championship!

The only people that have been suprised by our spending so far are the fans that seem to be more concerned about our accounts and FFP than the club are. But 35m on one player when we still need to sign another 2 or 3 in key positions? I think that’s pushing it.

Just an attention seeker posting after reporters. If he gets It right he laps it up. If he gets it wrong he goes on the defensive and tells people to unfollow him.

Maybe Smith will want more goals from the wingers. Similar to how Mane and Salah both bang in goals whilst playing on the flanks. Firminho normally the one in the middle but tends to link up the play more. Edit: I think both mane and salah were seen as wingers when Liverpool signed them.

He didn’t look too impressive to me yesterday and that much of an improvement on Taylor. Again just a friendly though so can’t really judge.

Monk got Birmingham’s player of the season out of him. It was his first year there he was crap.

Plus he’s actually managed 2 games without getting injured. It’s really hard to judge him by his time at Villa as he was never fit!

Probably but as we play 3 in the middle he could still get games. It will be a long season and hopefully we got for it in both the cups too. Edit: 6th choice? You putting Thor ahead of him or am I forgetting someone?
